cCc Candidacy for Reyizidency cCc

Dear kekes and pampuans,

I would like to announce my candidacy for the Reyizidency of Cyprus. I think this month will be very important for our country, and I have some plans to make the best out of the Resource Wars events.

What are the plans for the Resource Wars?

The plan is two-fol😛 First, we will try to get the best possible food resources for our country. The rules are such that countries only get as many resources as their original regions, but this number is increased to 4 if it is below 4. We will benefit from this. If everything goes as planned, we will have the maximum bonus for food in the Southern Cyprus region. We will achieve this by having the best 4 food bonuses, giving a total bonus of 30% + 25% + 20% + 15% = 90%. This will be one of the best spots to place food companies in the whole eRepublik.

I have already done a lot of research on how we can achieve this, and have contacted our neighbours about the possibilities. We have two plans. The best case scenario is the 90% bonus. In this case, the map looks like the following:

So we will be able to do this if Turkey agrees not to put a food very rare in regions other than Eastern Anatolia. If this is not possible, we will get a 70% bonus:

We only need other countries to place no food rares in the regions highlighted above.

The second part of the plan is to have Saudi Arabia keep some weapons or new industry non-rare bonuses in Al Jawf. This will provide a bonus of 10% + 15% + 20% = 45%. Not to great, but not too bad either. We can use it if we do not want to pay taxes to other countries for using their 90% bonus regions.

Why are the Resource Wars very important for Cyprus?

The obvious result of securing these bonuses will be that we will be able to establish our companies on ground that belongs to our own, so that our taxes do not go to foreigners, but the treasury of Cyprus. However there is much more:

The reasons for going for there resources are not only related to our production, but also earning revenues from foreigners. If I am elected reyizident, I intend to start a massive advertisement campaign in all of the populous countries in the e-World.

Our offer will be simple: We will invite everyone to establish their food companies in our 90% food region with the maximum possible bonus. Why would they accept? First of all, there won't be many of these provinces to go around due to the radius. We are lucky that we are not in the Balkans. But much more importantly than that, with the introduction of regional taxes, the other countries will try to tax the companies that are in their food regions very thoroughly. People will especially not want to pay taxes to their enemies' governments.

Cyprus stands at a very nice position: We don't have too many enemies, and we can promise to set very low province taxes. By doing this, we would give the foreigner players to enjoy maximum bonuses with low taxes that do not go to an enemy government. At the same time, even a low tax rate would mean a very large income stream for our country since we do not have as large a population as other countries. Furthermore, we are more isolated than the Balkan countries, so the risk of invasion and tax rate changes would be lower for people who are looking for the best region to place their companies in.

Other plans:

- I will of course enhance the communication between everyone in Cyprus by restarting our old PM groups. We are not like other countries so everyone will have a voice.

- When the new resources are planted, I will look into the effectiveness of communes with the new situation, and if it is viable to have a commune, we will start one.

- We will also help our allies and do sikertmes against our enemies as usual. I am definitely looking forward to a few battle organizations where we TATATA for our allies and against our enemies.

There are more things to come, but I will save them for another article. Thanks for reading, kekes!

I kiss you from your gidis 😘
Kemal
