Battle Hero + Bazookas = Please learn from my mistakes

So. Here we are. Stashed 50 bazookas away, seems to be more than sufficient to win most battles, so just need to pick the right one.

Have enough Candy bars? Check.
Resistance War for trodden on eState? Check.
Damage totals on the low side? Check.
Campaign of no significant consequence globally? Check.

It was pretty obvious after a short time that I was on to a loser:



Whatever I had, he could match. But you see, the clues were already there from a previous battle:



I PM'd him to congratulate him and admit to my failing. He send a PM back indicating that he would gladly have given me a BH if I had contacted him beforehand.

So lessons:

50 bazookas is not enough. 100 bazookas may not be enough. You really have to pick your fights carefully. Not only that, but you should contact the top fighters in previous battles and tell them you intend to fight in the next battle.

They may not respond and so in that case be wary. But I think in most cases they will respond and let you have your head. If they gank you just for fun, then at least they have marked their cards and you can deal with them at a later stage.
