Armenia to present its IT sector in 23 European cities in the fall

The regular session of the Council that is supporting the development of the IT sector took place at the government(headed by PM Hovik Abrahamyan).

As the Examiner was informed by the Information & Public Relations Department of the Government Staff of the Republic of Armenia, the 1st issue on the agenda was presented to the Council was the project that is headlined "Orbit of Armenia's international recognition: European race of IT companies", where the representatives of nearly over 60 Armenian companies.

In the framework of the project, the Armenian delegation will visit 23 European cities including Brussels, Berlin, Marseille, Warsaw, Prague, Sofia & will hold meetings with representatives of more than 100 companies & state officials. It was reported that the aim of the project is to introduce the prospects & innovative capabilities of the Armenian IT sector to European countries, to explore new markets for possible cooperation & practically to get acquainted with the European development experience of the IT sector.

It's expected that the project will be launched in the fall of 2015 and the project will last only 45 days. PM Abrahamayan has recently welcomed the initiative & highlighted the successful implementation of the project.
