Are You Going To Vote?

Day 1,891, 14:33 Published in Australia Uruguay by Nicky3Fingers

Yes eAustralia it is that time again, the day that only comes around once a month. Now i know what you are all thinking and its that "voting doesnt change anything" well i am sorry to tell you, but in this case the reader IS wrong. Voting can have a big affect on your country, depending on what the party Candidate has planned if he is elected to be your Senator. The shame is, is that alot of party members dont know what the canidate wants to do. which means that on the 25th they go to the voting page. They just have a varying number of people, who they have never heard of staring back at them which either causes them to

A. Leave the voting page entirely
Or
B. To vote on the following criteria
1. Which avatar picture they find the coolest/funniest/hottest
2. Whos name they think sounds the best
3. Close their eyes move the mouse around and hope to click on somebody

Do NOT be one of these people. Do NOT give your vote to someone who doesn't deserve it. if you feel like none of the candidates in your party have given a description on what they hope to do as senator then DON'T be afraid to message them, and to ask what their policy will be. And if they are serious about running and helping the community then you should receive a answer back from them with more details. Communication to other members is the key to any election whether it be a party election, or on the national stage and im sure others who have won will agree.

So remember be an informed voter and make them work for your vote and dont just give it to somebody it is MUCH too valuable to be thrown or given away
