Are Party Politics Putting eIreland In Danger?
AoifeNiBhriain
Dear eIrish citizens,
I had never planned on writing an article on this but the subject has recently began to annoy me to such an extent that I feel I must.
First of all, I wish to inform you of my history before I continue. My initial political affiliation was with the Free Malaysian Party in Malaysia but, to be honest, I did nothing while in that party. From there I briefly moved to Eire Aonair and then to a more permanent residence of Omega Eireann where I made some wonderful friends. I was fortunate enough to represent Omega Eireann in congress on a number of occasions and learned a lot from the more experienced players. I then decided to move to the Independent Labour Party where I have also gotten into congress and where I have met incredible people. However, throughout ALL of my time in eIreland there has been considerable conflict between the political parties.
90% of the time, this conflict does not directly have an impact on eIreland but it does create a stringent and hostile environment for the eIrish citizens as it feels as though we must hate one another. However, I am sure we could live with it
😛
As you are all aware we have recently fought off two attempted M.T.O.s. Clearly, eIreland is in a very vulnerable position at this point in time. What I regret to inform you is that I feel that we are not uniting in the face of this danger. Instead I feel we are worrying about little details that can be rectified after rather than the big picture - which is eIreland's safety. If we are taken over who knows how long it will be before we get our country back? We need to put our differences aside when it comes to matters such as these. You may bicker and argue as much as you want when it's over but for now I implore every member of congress, every member of an Irish political party and every eIrish citizen to do whatever it is we must do to protect our country. To be quite frank, we must grow up. Of course there should be political debates and I'm not saying there shouldn't be, I'm just saying that there is a time and a place for those debates to take place. I understand that everyone is trying to do the best for our eNation but I think we all need to take a step back and remember who it is we're fighting against and who stands beside us in the field of battle.
I decided a long time ago that I was going to try and unite eIreland to the way it used to be years ago. That is why I am trying to be friends with everyone. In spite of this, I want to make it clear that I will always give my honest opinion and try to do what is right for eIreland, I will always hold eIreland above anything else and I will fight with my friends if the necessity arises.
All I now hope for is unity among all of us eIrish because, whether you like it or not, it's hard to get better allies.
Aithnítear cara i gcruatan.
It is in hardship that a friend is recognised.
Yours respectfully,
Aoife NiBhriain
Comments
eh Its Independent Labour Party 😛
I don't understand this comment.
I wrote "Irish" rather than "Independent" in the article xD one of those nights so WHS just told me and I changed it!
Okay, just when I read the article above it says "Independent" not "Irish", so I am guessing it must be a comment from a previous article you did...
anyway there is 100% agreement in relation of the threat and a large measure of agreement in how to deal with it...see the MUs supporting the Coup
However there were better options on who should of lead it in my opinion.
We are promised a referendum on who ultimately takes the dictator position I'm just waiting to see if the CPs idea of a referendum is just Congress voting (as he stated earlier) or the full (with the obvious restrictions) population as Don, myself and others seem to want. That is not a small matter, one is elitist the other gives the person appointed a mandate.
I will make no apologies for my total opposition for having whoever is the dictator been called a Monarch or any royalist term. This is eIreland, a eRepublic!
and it seems I am right Inept has call an election on who the dictator is and only Congress members can vote. http://goo.gl/forms/XuFgGD15W0
I reject this vote as invalid
Party politics is the root of all evil
I would of said corruption...
An anthropologist would view eIreland by its very small factions vying for dominance and declare it a tribal culture. Not even a chiefdom. And that's probably all we'll ever be.
And that's party politics.
Maybe but I still say corruption is the root of all evil
Reptilian, illuminati, masons, and whatever you could call "them" are the root of all evil. 😃
Damn Party Politics.
Great article, Aoife
Thank you 🙂
Well we have an election coming up 😉. Why not let whoever wins as CP get appointed to CrOmega and be Dictator as well as CP?
I thought that was the plan the first time that Dictatorship was proposed?
problem is if a new or young player (we don't have many choices these days) runs for CP, we can impeach them. Hand over dictatorship and now that impeachment costs 200k and possibly still won't be successful.
Instead it looks to be similar to a MoF, only rather than experienced, knowledgeable and active, we should be looking to elect someone who is active, dependable, and non-partisan, or as non-partisan as it's possible to be in Ireland. lol
I had a thought a while back when we were first discussing installing a Dictator that a person who runs for CP will chose a VP that will be installed as Dictator. That way there will be another level of accountability in the choice as hopefully parties will choose their candidates carefully and if the majority don't like the VP choice they don't vote for them. They will be voting for both CP and Dictator essentially.
dictatorship is just another manner to keep control in the hands of a few? apparently they also consider you as the few or we will find out wont we ?
i see the mu of our mof has sponsored most co's but form where? this is classic eIreland there is not a single fact presented to the irish populice before installing a dictator. who donated money to us? and also we cant count. they dont care about dictatorship and the 200 k they will just wait the 10 days and then try to dispose the dictator again. since we have now admitted we wont defend it they will probably succeed. well done eireland
i hope you find this helpful.
[RIP] DEMOCRACY IS DEAD

💕 How I learned to love the eWorld Again 💕
.
thank you for sharing that Rican 🙂
All the parties are ideologically different.....but when someone is trying to impose dictatorship we must all stand as one, united Irish People!
But I do strongly believe that we need party politics. All the different parties stand for something different so I think the people should have a choice of who to join/who to elect
I mightn't have been clear in what I was saying. I meat was that, in certain circumstances, like the current ones, we must forget about any dislike we may have for one another and we must try to do the best for our eCountry.
I'm not saying we should abolish party politics, maybe just be slightly more mature in how we handle them. There's no need i.m.o. for all the hatred.
I hope that clears it up a little 🙂
You think this is fight between parties? When I was leaving ePoland - it wasn't maybe a world war of political parties, but it was very close 😃

Aoife, pronounced as E-fa.
Why do you find it so hard to just spell her name? It's Aoife. It's not that hard to copy.
I mean "Aoinf/Aiofie", is it that hard for you to read like?
adolfie? it easy to copy paste but im am sorry we dont ever hear your tongue spoken so expecting me to perfectly pronounce your strange names is a bit weird? also its weird spelling a lot of ou aie (what is that called again) with no consonants. yes its difficult to read. your on the internet your feed is pumped to south africa not dublin . but then again tara you probably wont understand this as you can even argue yourself out of a sandwich bag. we were annexed by the british(the dutch established the first tradepost) not by the irish how you pronounce your names is not important to me today. i did check up her name. is she a fan or the real thing?

aoife ni bhriain is a semi famous violinist. so that would be a massive coincidence. perhaps you should read wht others write. did i not say that your language is difficult o follow. so hou op met jou kak want jy gee my 'n gatkramp jou helikopter.
A massive coincidence? There are tons of people with the same name as others. Why don't you stop your crap? The language I'm using is English, it'd be completely different if I was speaking as gaeilge(in Irish), I wouldn't expect you to understand that. Like you speaking Afrikaans to me, am I supposed to know that? Where as you do seem to know English, don't you?
i meant the gaelic bits . what r the argument about my spelling of english names or Gaelic names. damn these gauls (julius ceasar - asterix)
Well said
Thank you Mr. Tayto
I've been eIrish my entire life, but I've always assumed conflict, whether ideological or game-related, is common in every country. I'd agree that countries the size of Ireland would benefit from a united front, but that's been hard to achieve over the years, except in times of war when the country would unite to fight (especially against the eUK!)
There will always be conflict but I'm just hoping that we can put the country's welfare above that conflict. It would be wonderful if we could always be united but that is a tad unrealistic I suppose 🙂
The public should choose the dictator otherwise the system is begging to be toppled as soon as it goes against a majority of them.
We have a constitutional system in the eUK where the dictator is elected via a national referendum and is obliged to follow the will of Congress and the Government unless it goes rogue.
Here's the Act that was passe😛 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BP4C2rVqqcrQVjqad5oFtG3AzzUiVxhpI4C1xkj1pnQ/edit
their to scared to follow the public route as they know they are no match for players like me who can sway an entire nation with 1 article. also our reasoning is not solid. if you played chess you would understand that we basically sacrificed our show of strength to put a rook in front of our king. we should have starved them financially but dont think our opponents bothered even with co's you will soon see ireland falling to them now.
The country should always come before personal or party gains.
My sentiments exactly Titus 🙂 thank you!
lets see how the national summit and self inflicted dictator choosing goes.

Political parties has always been the reason we arent doing much more than we do now. They are killing us from the inside. Instead of fighting the same enemies some people find more fun in domestic petty politics.
But...everyone are playing the ways they want to..its a game afterall.
