An update from the Office of the Prime Minister

Hello to my fellow Australians.

I hope you all have been to the polling booths and voted for congress.... This is the first time in a very long while that we have all our regions and a massive congress. So it would be a waste not to make the most of it.

But now for the update.

Congress Elections:

VOTE!!!. I would like to remind all candidates, please add me to your friend list's so I can you to the message thread when the elections are over.

If your reading this after the elections, I would like too congratulate the ones who won and for those who missed out, please don't be disheartened, stay active and try again next month.

Resource Wars:

As you might all know, there is a resource shake up coming and this will be powered by a resource war. Well, Australia has agreed to a Training/Resource War with one of it's close friends. So please stay tuned for an article from the MoD in regards to this.

In this upcoming war, timing and planning is everything. So please read your Daily Orders and follow them. Resource tokens will be issued for victories in battle and in RW's. Since this is an organised war, we will need to work to the plan.

Future Events:

Politically:
a) Congress elections (currently on going as detailed above).
b) Our vCP has left for a new challenge, so I would like to wish him all the best for his future adventures. Dr. F served Australia well, both in politics and in battles, join me in saluting him o7
c) That leaves a spot open in the government. Currently our MoF J Seemore is also acting as our vCP.

Militarily:
a) Well the threat I spoke of before has temporally gone away, thanks to the good work of our MoFA Blackwood, but we still remain cautious.
b) As I mentioned above, the Resource War will soon kick off. Please stay tuned for updates from the MoD.

International:
a) We have signed a MPP with Taiwan. Taiwan has always been a strong country and close friend in our area of the world and this MPP will serve us well.
b) One of our other close friends, Canada has left LETO. While they are no longer apart of the Alliance, Canada and Australia remain close to each other and will stand side by side in all battles.

Financial:
a) I hope that all new congressmen/women will donate their gold to the country or their org of choice. This will help increase the money reserves for Australia.

Education and Entertainment:
a) Soon eRepublik will see a massive give away to celebrate Australia Day....
