An Interview with my friend Jamarcus

Day 1,393, 20:25 Published in USA Canada by Cody Caine

eRepublik Name:Jamarcus

What do you prefer to be called your eRepublik name or something else, if something else what?
Jamarcus is fine. Although, people do tend to call me Jammy. Mostly Libs.

What brought you to this game?
My love of politics in real life.

Have you always been in eUSA or did you start off in another eCountry?
I began in the US, but I've been around the world from Israel to New Zealand.

How active of a player are you?
I would say I'm fairly active when I have something to be active about. Otherwise, I don't mind taking a backseat and observing.

What would you say is your greatest achievement so far as a member of eUSA?
I would have to say...being a leader of the Libertarian Party for several months now. Ever since I first ran, and narrowly lost the PP race months ago, the party has continued to ask me to serve. I'm proud to be their Vice President.

How many cabinet jobs have you had?
I've had quite a few Cabinet jobs in several countries. From MoFA, Sec. of Embassies, and vMoFA in Israel. To vMoFA in New Zealand and the USA.

What do you intend to accomplish if elected party president of the Libertarian Party?
I would do very much the same thing I did as Party President of the Democratic Party. I would focus on developing new party members into active, engaged, and balanced players, who will not only benefit our party, but the country as a whole. I know most people care more about, and determine success, by how "many" members a party has. I care about the content of the players that make up that party, and the leaders who are tasked to guide them forward.

Do you plan to Run for Congress this month?
Not a chance.

Would you ever run for President of eUSA?
The last time I ran for President...was in May '09. I didn't really "want" to run, but I was drafted by the Democrats to run because I was so vocal about how much I hated the incumbent and the way politics worked in the US as a whole. I've brushed it off since, but I think I might give it a shot before I bite the dust.

Since we both have a liking of R.F.K., could you share some of your favorite things about him?
One thing I love about RFK, is he never got his point across by shouting or demonizing his opponents as people do today as well as in his time. He preferred to look at all people as human beings, as opposed to objects to be "removed" from your path. I am literally forced to contemplate my place in the world, and ask myself, "What can I do to change it?"

and finally any final thoughts for the readers?
I would like to encourage my fellow citizens to remember that this is a game and the only way we can lose is if we stop enjoying it.
As some of you will remember I helped Jamarcus win in Colorado back in Julys congressional elections, and he has been supportive of me, and it was a pleasure to interview him.
