An International Interview - Ronell of New Zealand

Day 1,942, 14:05 Published in Australia Australia by Reximus
Looking at the media I have noticed that:
~It's too bloody quiet
~The crazy cat lady is bored, and scaring our citizens

Instead of writing an article saying that it is too quiet, or posting random animal pictures, I decided to have an interview with Ronell (AKA Tabithi).

She is a notable New Zealander, and serves as their Minister of Foreign Affairs. In addition, she is their representative to the Circle of Trust Court, and is one of the judges on the panel that decided who was at fault.

And now... The Interview!

Note: The interview was conducted over IRC, so I will be putting it together in the best way possible, without changing her words, but maybe by combining a few lines of text. This is my first IRC interview, so bear with me.

Diplomatic Dialogue: What is the current state of the CoT Supreme Court trial, between Chile and Australia?
Ronell: The CoT trial is over; the verdict has been issued to the Secretary General and CoT HQ.

D😨 When will the verdict be announced?
Ronell: I have no idea, but my guess is that it will announced in the next week.

D😨 What options were there for the Judges to vote for?
Ronell: There were three options: to find Chile at fault, to find Australia at fault, or to find both of them at fault.

D😨 Was there any bias that you noticed? Did Chile have a vote in the Court? What about the USA?
Ronell: There wasn't any bias, all judges worked on what we found. We all voted independently, so none of us could impact each other. No, Chile didn't have a vote, and the US didn't either, since they are only a Trial Member.

D😨 How close was the final result?
Ronell: The verdict we reached passed wit a 60% majority.

D😨 If Australia wins the trial, what will be expected of Chile? And what would happen if Chile didn't comply?
Ronell: I don't know, Reximus. And that's an honest answer. 😛 I could only assume the regions would be returned.

Then Ronell offered to tell me some of the evidence that the Court had access to.

Ronell: 1. Fighters in Government or Congress were fighting against their nation, and for Chile. I discounted this, however, since both sides were doing it. 2. Xavier Griffith, the CP, openly admitted in PM to then-CP of the US Fingerguns that he was considering joining TWO, which violates the NAP, which says Australia should move pro-CoT. 3. For about a month, Australia still held MPPs with CoT member nations and allies.

Thanks to Ronell!

Some analysis of the interview, if you aren't too bored already.

~ CoT HQ has had the decision for some time now, and has yet to release it. This leads me to believe that the ruling was either for Australia, or that both parties were guilty, which may have an outcome that would not be favourable to Chile.
~ The 60% majority that passed the verdict means that the Court had somewhat set out goals and evidence, or that all the judges were thoroughly convinced one way or the other.
~ The three main points of evidence are split - 1 is for Chile, 1 is for Australia, and 1 is neutral.

Source: A handy link I found in one of the restricted channel of CoT, #CoTWO. Don't try to tell me its an informal thing, they are allied. Pretty neat, huh?

English playwright and author William Shakespeare said,
The jury, passing on the prisoner's life,
May in the sworn twelve have a thief or two
Guiltier than him they try.

Who is really guilty? (I personally love this quote.)
