On Day 1886, it was announced that eSpain had proposed a law affirming us as their natural enemy. Right now, there are 12,478 eSpaniards and 1,503 eCanadians. In other words, these are the odds against which we are facing off:

Outnumbered 8.3 to 1, few nations could hope to fight and win against one of the eWorld's most enduring powers. Except us.

The emancipation of the twelve other provinces and territories will be a towering, daunting mountain whose summit will not be reached without the sacrificing of many and much. Perhaps tomorrow, the spot of red that is now Quebec will be engulfed by the sea of maroon which presently surrounds it. It wouldn't matter. Against all odds, we proved we have what it takes to take on eSpain. We have seen the light at the end of the tunnel. When it is midnight in Madrid, we will bask in that light.

Good spirit. Yet someday someone will write an article about the elephant in the room: a treaty with Spain. What is discussed in that article/comments will likely affect eCanada quite a bit.

For now, let's deal with the odds and hope for some other influence that will get Spain off our backs...because nobody has the courage to publish such a thing just yet.
