A Question of Fate: Asteria, Pacifica and Greek-Hungarian War

Day 2,932, 11:54 Published in USA Japan by Schubacca

In my previous past article I wrote "The Rising Power of the Asteria Alliance and the Waning Power of Pacifica". When it comes to alliances during changing time a nation must carefully walk a line to find those nations that can commit to a long lasting friendship that are important for the nation. When making alliances with other nations in the diplomacy room is point out why is important for them, why it is important to the US and why it is important for both nations, and why it is important right now for the Erepublik world moving into the future. With every decision that is made it has an impact on the Erepublik world.

When an individual becomes country president everything is your responsibility. That goes without saying from Marvel's Spider-Man "With great power come great responsibility". Even to those moments that a country president can't control it still has to be dealt with accordingly because it’s their job. When come to any CP sitting in the big chair you have to know what you’re doing even when your armor on. One day you can walk in showing you have the might with your steel armor and chain mail on but in other sense enemies will always somehow creep under skin and pick you apart piece by piece. The CP needs to stay connected to the people on an actively continuous routine basis. A CP must invest in a strong military and use it wisely so it operates efficiently. When it comes to rising tensions like the Greek-Hungarian War or any war like it presents any leader with an interesting challenge to deal with.

In my past article “The Rising Power of Asteria and the Waning Power of Pacifica” I addressed similar questions and concerns. The Greece-Hungary War has definitely puts both Asteria and Pacifica into question to their fate as a new axis possibly threatens the future of Asteria and also its other sub alliances. My logical thought here if RL world issues are going to bleed in to we as nation just need to accept the inevitable reality in game in way of friends in the Balkans is all eUSA will really have. No sense to waste time to get burned because nothing in terms of eUSA wants to do. The best thing to do is pick a team. There are too many issues in play and picking a team to stay with for long term is the better idea. How successful has Pacifica been at protecting her members? Well that is one important question once again highlighted in my article. To my notion is should we strengthen our ranks and who would be a good fit? Are Argentina, China, Cyprus, and Brazil a few nations we can turn to? Should Pacifica and extending the alliance with maybe RO, BR,PT, ARG? Or is it time that Pacifica simply merge with Asteria while the troublesome Asterian nations have been pushed to the wayside? Should Greece be included in this new potential alliance? However I love the thought of calling a new alliance Olympus. With the Greek-Hungarian War our country should consider strengthening ties with Greece. America has many menaces to deal with our loyalty with our commitment to our allies should be in question and as well Pacifica in time that Asteria showing fractures at the seams. A lot will hinge on bloc between Romania, Argentina, Portugal and Brazil when a Hungary-Bulgaria-FYROM forming a new axis which has serious implications for Asteria and sub alliances like Pacifica. With Serbia and Slovenia being close to Hungary, the future looks grim as the potential of an axis presenting a threat in the wake of what is going on with the Greek-Hungarian War.

Since Wild Owl's release of his latest article it was interesting but however I do have some concerns. Especially the part about waiting to see if Serbia will side more with Hungary-Bulgaria-FYROM Axis (like it need a shorter name) or remain loyal to Asteria. For understanding the patience and caution but sometimes waiting could be also be seen as bad when an axis is growing stronger when action is required to take on against them while this new axis is in its infancy. In my opinion there is a sense of urgency to act. Anyways these are just my opinions. America you have interesting choice to make because whatever path it chooses it is in eyes of eAmerican citizens that we together as a nation must make the right decision for what is the best course of action going forward.

On a personal note as a first time congress it is America's security which is one of many things I care about. Through knowledge and wisdom of the friends I made so far in eRepublik it only makes me a better person as time goes forward for myself. There will be successes and there will be failures for myself to be expected but overall it is the benefit of this all that will help me strive to succeed as I become a better Erepublik politician. To the SFP I am extremely grateful to be part of your party and looking forward to the future just being involved with you.

Thank You and God Bless America.
