A Heartbreaking Farewell

Day 825, 17:26 Published in South Korea Japan by Myung Kei

I never though it would ever come to this, especially after the euphoria of the great return of eSK back to the world scene, the prospect of leading this great nation into the future was something that I looked forward to. Prehaps start a business, get more into regional politics, and even expand my newspaper into something greater and make it a good read for all of my subscribers and more. And being there all the way with Spade, Smily, Athasnim, and everyone else here as eSK could get back on its feet and progress into the unkown. Sadly, I have been gravely mistaken....

To put it simply, my life has been in a bit of a hectic turmoil, and unfortunately I cannot keep up with the demands of even eRepublik 2-clicking, draining both my time to straighten out my life and to keep up with the events going on here in eRepublik. I must drop either my life or eRepublik to maintain the present course, and unfortunately my life is not up on the table to be dropped ( 😉 ).

So I would like to share a few of the things that have been on my mind before I must make my grand journey into the next beyond.

I nominate Athasnim to be Speaker of the Assembly

The only thing that will hold us together, is not being torn apart -This is emphasised in the motto "one country, one people, one South Korea", a motto that for the past month or so I have lived by in seeing through. We can all agree that we can disagree, but disagreeing on agreeable things is not how we should proceed forward, as the political scene of eSouth Korea develops, no doubtedly factions will form. But in this fragile state, all of should band together and be united in the short term, so we can have long term bickering politics.

I hope that the Sol v2 Charter that has been worked on will be reviewed for a more revived Sol and account for a stronger alliance and unity

eSK should stay farrrrrrrrrr away from alliance politics -self explanatory 😛 PEACE/PHOENIX or ATLANTIS/PHOENIX, neither will benifit us in the end, our only hope is through regional cooperation and understanding, such as our great allies from eJapan.

The eSK of tomorrow will be a better eSK than of today -this is less of a warning, but more of a outlook for the future, and not because I am leaving in the literal sense, but that this is the mindset we should take into the future, that a proud sense of oppertunity lies just ahead, and we are in the path to seize it. Sometimes it may be a bit of a rough patch, but doom and gloom in a time like this prevokes disunity and splintered hopes for the future.

Sorry that this is so short, but I would like to make an shoutout to my "closest friends":

Spade, Smily, Athasnim, Jelly9473, Mav, Hekter, Oraizan, Fae, and Metic (if you are around 😛):

Thank you so much for your support, all of you taught me different values and the meaning of friendship and laughter in eRepublik and all through the troubles and times I have faced here, and I will never forget what you have given to me. I can never fully repay you.

With that, I donate my remaining KRW to the Bank of Seoul, and I bid you all safe travels, and pray that with the new modules, prosperity is just around the corner:

Respectfully yours,

Myung Kei
