A Cold Winter return and a Warm Exciting Contest
Myung Kei
In case anyone wants to know, leaning on a cane is dangerous to your health, and moreso your balance...
As I promised to my friends and fellow citizens here in eJapan, after helping out a few friends and patriots in eIndia in fending off a few MAFIA PTO's in their congressional races, I have returned back to eJapan. I hope that everyone here had a Merry Christmas (if you celebrate such of course) and for everyone in eJapan to have a wonderful New Year!
One of my "new year's resolutions" for erepublik is to start up a professional looking newspaper (become like an eWalter Cronkite of the eJapanese Media), with weekly or bi-weekly articles that span over a variety of topics. Such as a daily headline, collumn for world news, an opinion paragraph, and a section for links and other gibberish. Before each section there will be a "title graphic" for each section to organize the newspaper and make is a tad more professional and clean for the average onlooker.
Hopefully with my RL now straightening out and becoming less complicated, eJournalism is an activity that I would like to devote my time to.
The Contest and Rules
-Each of the graphics has to reflect the theme of myself and my newspaper (Psst....Monopoly)
-The graphics length needs to be longer than its width (to save "scrolling time"
😉
-Contestants may submit up to 2 designs per category, but may participate in as many or as few categories as they want.
-All designs must be sent via a Private Message in Erepublik or Via Personal Messaging me on eJapan's official IRC at #eJapan at irc.coldfront.net when I am around.
The envelope please...yes....the categories are:
-Headline News
-World Events (Note: I am leaning towards the title of this section being "Just Visiting"
😛)
-Opinion Collumn
-Go To These Links
and....
A Category of the Contestant's choosing
(reward for this category will be given for its design, creativity, and usefulness)
- Each winning design shall have a 3 gold reward sent to the person who made the design.
The Deadline is New Year's Day....happy designing!
