10 Most Seductive Female Movie Characters of the 2010s

Day 5,265, 08:22 Published in Ukraine North Macedonia by Ghost Axior

Choosing the main movie crash of the past decade. The 2010s ended just yesterday, each of us still has fresh memories of the films and TV shows we watched, and their number has increased significantly thanks to streaming services, which made the choice of the final ten even more painful, so I limited this top only to “big movies” (in otherwise, we would be drowning in an endless selection of serial beauties; maybe we'll get there yet, who knows).

Well, since the mainstream cinema of the last decade has been enslaved by comics, you should not be surprised that most of the places on the list are given to their heroines.

So, the top 10 female movie crashes of the past decade!

And I still urge you to share your options in the comments, who is categorically lacking in the list.

10. Margot Robbie as Naomi Lapaglia (The Wolf of Wall Street, 2013)

A vivid example of how one role made a star of the first magnitude and almost the main blonde of Hollywood out of an unknown actress, and the number of search queries with her name increased hundreds of times thanks to one character played.

Robbie doesn't have a lot of screen time in The Wolf, but each of her appearances on the screen became a mini-event.

Of course, the reason for this is the rather piquant nature of the scenes with the participation of the actress, but anyway, after The Wolf of Wall Street, Margo begins to get the main roles one after another and becomes the only one who retained her role when restarting the failed first Suicide Squad. In 2023, the release of the film "Barbie" with Robbie in the title role is planned.

9. Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Catwoman (The Dark Knight Rises, 2012)

By 2012, Anne Hathaway was already a star, at least thanks to her roles in "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Brokeback Mountain", and the actress was nominated for an Oscar for the drama "Rachel Gets Married". True, Hathaway will win it later, in 2013, with the musical Les Misérables, and before that, she will have time to play Batman's girlfriend in the last part of Nolan's trilogy about the Dark Knight.

I wonder who would win in the fight for the title of the best Catwoman, Michelle Pfeiffer or Anne Hathaway. For example, I thought, looking at the names, that it would be a battle not only of actresses, but also a funny battle of the letters “F” against the letters “E”.

8. Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, 2010)

Winstead is unlikely to be named if you ask someone to list the ten most beautiful or most famous actresses in Hollywood. But at the same time, she is almost invariably mentioned when discussing those who can be called their screen "crashes".

Before her role in Scott, Winstead had already been John McClain's daughter in the sequel to Die Hard, starred in Tarantino's Death Proof (still can't call it Death Proof) and appeared in several popular horror franchises: "The Call", "The Thing" and "Destination", thanks to which she became the owner of the unofficial title of the modern "scream queen" (later, the role in the spin-off "Monster", the film "Cloverfield, 10" will be added to the same piggy bank).

At the same time, Mary Elizabeth is familiar to many thanks to the role of the mysterious and elusive Ramona Flowers, for whom Michael Cera is ready for anything. And yes, it's also a comic book movie.

7. Emily Ratajkowski as Andy (Gone Girl, 2014)

One of the rare members of the list that has nothing to do with comics.

And while it is unlikely that any of you will remember at least the name of Ratajkowski's character in Gone Girl, her role in the film became perhaps the most memorable thanks to ... ahem .. outstanding acting talents. Since Gone, Emily hasn't (at least not yet) had any notable movie roles, she's still more of a model than an actress, but without a doubt, anyone who's spent at least fifteen years online in the last five years minutes, stumbled upon at least one of her many photographs. Ratajkowski instantly became, thanks to her role in Gone Girl, one of the most coveted and talked about women on the Internet.

6. Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Wonder Woman (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, 2016)

Another example of how one successful role turns an actress into one of the main sex symbols of Hollywood. Before the role of Wonder Woman, Gadot appeared in supporting roles in several parts of Fast and Furious, and also starred in the crime drama Three 9s. But it was the role of Diana Prince that revealed "Miss Israel" in all its glory.

The appearance of the Gadot character in Batman v Superman was as spectacular for the audience as it was commercially successful. By 2020, Gal Gadot was on the third line in the list of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. To the state of Bruce Wayne, of course, it is unlikely to reach, but at least something.

5. Eva Green as Eva Lord (Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For, 2014)

In the same decade, Green deserves a place in the top for his role in the continuation of "Sin City". And even though the film was a complete failure both at the box office (40 million dollars on a budget of 65) and according to the audience (the second part became a pale copy of the first, vainly trying to repeat the WOW effect by repeating the same moves), Eva Lord's character is completely justifies the name of the picture.

It is ironic that in the same 2014, Green played in another unsuccessful continuation of the graphic novel by Frank Miller, the film "300 Spartans: Rise of an Empire", so instead of Eva Lord, it is quite possible to include the role of Artemisia here, no less fatal and seductive than Eva Lord , the woman played by Green.

4. Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Scarlet Witch (Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2014)

Someone could remember Olsen from her role in the American remake of Oldboy with Josh Brolin, someone, perhaps, from some of her very early films, and someone simply as the younger sister of the Olsen twins.

Elisabeth is best known for her role as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First appearing as supporting characters alongside Quicksilver in The Avengers 2, Scarlet Witch eventually grew into a solo series and one of the main characters in the franchise. Well, the fact that Olsen has been one of the most popular subjects for deepfake videos on a certain topic for several years in a row suggests that this character is very, very attractive to fans.

In between filming in the Scarlet Witch costume, Olsen still cannot boast of a variety of roles, except for the strong thriller Windy River, where, by a funny coincidence, they brought together two more Marvel superheroes: Jeremy Renner and Jon Bernthal.

Apparently, it all depends on how many more films Feige is going to exploit the character of Elizabeth, but there is no doubt that the actress's career will continue successfully without the Avengers.

3. Ana de Armas as Joy (Blade Runner 2049, 2017)

Before her role in Blade Runner, Ana managed to torment Keanu Reeves in the film "Who's There" and take part in the voice acting of the cartoon "Despicable Me". To most viewers, de Armas became known for her role as Ryan Gosling's virtual girlfriend in the sequel to Bladerunner.

Jokes about the fact that "I would have brought such an Alice to my home too" were overlapped only by disputes about whether Gosling died at the end or not. De Armas instantly became famous after "Blade Runner".

Later, Ana - already non-virtually - will save Ben Affleck from a protracted depression (the actors were in a relationship for about a year) and will star twice with Daniel Craig: first in Knives Out, and then in the last part of the Bond movie, where her role will be just as perfect optional for the plot, how bright and memorable for the entire male part of the audience.

2. Lily Collins as Samantha Borgens, Black Widow (Stuck in Love, 2012)

Lily Collins is the daughter of the famous rock singer Phil Collins, and therefore the creative life has been in her blood since birth. The actress and model first appeared on television at the age of two, and as a teenager she also demonstrated journalistic talent: Lily not only wrote a column for the British Elle Girl magazine, but also wrote for such eminent publications as Seventeen and Teen Vogue.

Over the past 10 years, the actress has managed to star in a considerable number of films and TV shows, the most famous of which are The Shepherd, Snow White: Revenge of the Dwarves and Love, Rosie. In 2017, Collins was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. In addition, today she is the face of the brands "Movado", "Lancôme" and "Barrie".

1. Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow (Iron Man 2, 2010)

Johansson's first appearance as Natasha Romanoff was in Iron Man 2, where she was apparently in supporting roles. It was only from the first gathering of the Avengers that the character began to be brought to the fore, which for attentive viewers, even those unfamiliar with the ENT of the universe, was hardly a surprise - yet Johansson was already a well-known actress by that time, who would hardly have been invited to such a franchise for the sake of five minutes screen time.

Scarlett started acting at the age of 10 (I wrote about this in an article about the brightest film debuts), and before the Avengers she had already appeared both in big blockbusters (the film "The Island") and starred, for example, in several films by Woody Allen.

It is curious that on the set of the film "The Island" Johansson quarreled with director Michael Bay because of the bed scene with Ewan McGregor, and for a very unexpected reason. The actress insisted on her heroine's bare (!) breasts, but the filmmakers, fearing a tougher rating, forced (!!) her to wear a bra. As you understand, since then Michael Bay can hardly be considered your favorite director and in general he should be tried for a crime against Humanity.

Black Widow ranks first in this ranking as the most popular female character in the most popular franchise of the last decade. It is unlikely that there is at least one mature man on the planet who has never paid attention to this image. And the popularity of the films themselves also entails an endless amount of fan art, cosplay, and a lot of NSFW content surrounding Johansson's character.

P.S. In the end, I would like to remind you once again - this is not the top of the best (or most beautiful) actresses, these are the top characters. Of course, it, like any similar rating, is subjective, but I tried to take into account several factors and, if possible, be fair in them: the popularity of the film itself, the recognizability and brightness of the image, the character's "heritage", which made the actress a sex symbol our time.

If you don’t find your favorite actress or heroine in the top, don’t rush to be sarcastic about it, it’s better to share in the comments the missing character, in your opinion, with the rest. On the contrary, it’s cool to add your heroine to my list and get a hundred pluses from people who agree with you.

There are only 10 places in the top. Believe me, I myself have many candidates that I was forced to leave outside the final list, this does not mean that all other actresses are unworthy.
