What’s up party people!? First off I want to thank everyone who clicked that vote button yesterday and selected me to be the next Party President of We The People! I’m going to be using this article as my Inaugural Address as well as introducing my cabinet for this month.



As I stated in my Candidacy Article , my main focus is going to be communication. Many of you - hopefully all of you - received ingame mail regarding this election with information on the primaries and the final in-game election. Expect that kind of communication for the duration of my term. I will be putting out newsletters each week informing everyone in the party about the current happenings in the party. I want everyone who is part of We The People to feel like they are actually a part of the party. Another thing I’m striving to do during my Party Presidency is to clean up our forums and documents. I will be going through and anything that is outdated will either be updated or removed. I will be consulting with my advisors before I remove anything I’m unsure of as I’m not trying to change who we are, I’m just trying to clean us up and make us more efficient. I want We The People to be the #1 party, not by quantity of members, but by quality of members. I encourage everyone to get involved in some way, in some department, and help us grow and prosper.



I’m excited about the cabinet I’ve put together. There may be names in my cabinet you aren’t familiar with, while there are some that are very noticeable. My goal when creating this cabinet wasn’t to just copy/paste cabinets from previous terms - it was to overhaul the cabinet and put people in charge who I know will do the job and are active. Without further adieu, I present to you the Sept. - Oct. 2014 Cabinet:

Vice President

The Mike

The Mike is a great guy and is probably going to be my “go to guy” for decisions that I might need some assistance on. He’s been in the game for a while and was our PP last term.

Security Director

Honestly, I can’t think of a better person I want in charge of the security and well-being of our party. I’m not really sure what else there is to say, his name and reputation speaks for itself.

Recruitment Director

Blande

I like to say Blande and I have a strong working relationship. He’s a great communicator and did a fantastic job as Recruitment Director last month. He’s engaging and shows great initiative. Those are two important traits for someone in recruiting.

Another goal in my term is to finalize the transfer of FTW into Whalefare, which will be run by Oblige. Until then, I’m keeping the man who has been with FTW in charge until the reigns are handed over.

Media Director

Here’s a new face for you all! It was brought to my attention that ODB was looking for work in the party. I had two slots open, media being one of them, and asked him which he would rather have. He has experience in media and I’m excited to work with a new face and see what he’s capable of.



There’s one last space in my cabinet that I haven’t yet filled - Retention Director. It’s a very important position and if anyone reading this who is in our party and wants to get more involved is interested in this position, please let me know. My only required qualifications for this position is that you are in good standing with the party and you’re ready to get things done and moving.

For anyone who wants to get involved but feels like they aren’t quite ready for a director position, become a deputy. Pick a department you’d like to work in, contact either the director of the position or myself and we’ll get you set up as a deputy.
