Join the new world

Hey guys,

after the PP nomination thread, it's quite obvious what is the main purpose of the current article. Disco Musolini and myself, two of the most beloved WTPers, are running head-to-head for Party President! I'm really excited about this race as I usually avoid such clashes, but lately it has been a tradition for the WTP to have great PP races. And I do believe the current one is the one with the most quality in it 😛



How did we come to this?

It has been year and a half since I've been a WTP member. It all started with Hale26 and Mazzy Cat. Back in the day the #wtp channel was worldwide famous and the two great persons I just mentioned made that happen. We did have the most active and the one with the most diversity in it party channel that ever existed 😁 That's how I was dragged into this loophole. Then I became a congressman, deputy Speaker of the House, entered the NSC team (which I am currently leading), I even became Chief of Staff in the infamous NewAzazelian government! During all this time I was presenting WTP in congress and leading the party mentorship program. In the last half a year I took on some other roles - recruitment and Vice-Presidenting. I believe I managed to support Hale for as much as possible, but I also believe that during all this time I have learned several things about being a Party President:
1. The Party President is the most important role in our society;
2. The Party President role is the one that demands the most dedication and time;
3. The Party Presidents are directly responsible for the future of our society for the next half a year.



As it is summer, and I among others am also in vacation, drinking my Long Island Ice Tea cocktails on the beach, I'd like to finish the article with the next paragraph and make the current one as short as possible.
I will have several goals next term:
1. Make it known what party leadership roles are there and who is doing what - I hope this would help recruitment into the party leadership team!
2. Consolidate all party donation programs into a big one. Name is still pending, but starts with Whalefare and finishes with Training Program. We have a great variety of these and people should be better informed IMO!
3. Introduce another batch of new faces into the party leadership team. We have a great bunch of advisors (headed by the most beloved of them, RacoonGoon) and now we need some fresh blood for the DOers positions ^_~
