[Wook4CP] How is this going to work then?

Now that Congress have been elected and the Butjam furore is settling down (What a sexy Butjam btw! Are you with me? Yes, of course you all are), the next big thing on the eUK calendar is the CP elections. As stated in my last article I am running for Prime Minister once again.

What will a WookieO term offer?

In my last campaign I set out actual proposals and laid out plans and everything! This got me nowhere. I even ended up behind Sambo112, bless him.

So for you traditionalists out there, I’m afraid this isn’t going to be a campaign full of empty promises, bloated ministry proposals and all the other stuff you love.

No, this is going to be a stripped down, sexy campaign, full of running, jumping and the occasional climbing of trees.

I’m a member of the Skatalites and as such I’m not a puppet of any of the ‘big’ parties, I’m not beholden to anyone. My party supports me in as much as a Skatalite supports anything. We’re a laid back bunch of reprobates, but we do love having a laugh and although Wayne appears to be on secondment to eCanada currently, you can see we’re patient souls, as we even put up with him! Only kidding Wayne, old bean 😉

Are you going to go mental as soon as you get into office?

No of course not. I’ve been a part of government now, admittedly only in a small deputy Minister of Home Affairs role, but I don’t want to see the eUK fall apart. I want to see us grow and for all of us to enjoy this game we’re playing.


This is how much fun we should be having…

Much of the general day to day stuff has been working quite well in the last couple of terms and I’m not going to change much in that regard. I plan to choose people to work with me who have experience in the important roles in government.

The Ministry of Finance for example was taken back under control by Carlini during Boh’s term in office and Emergy has been doing a superb job this month too. I will employ a MoF equally as trustworthy and mathematically sound as these two chaps to continue the good work.

There is also a wealth of talent at my disposal to run the Ministry of Defence. This will not be a tricky job to sort and despite my lack of experience in this area I’m confident my Minister will be top notch.

The same can be said about all the government departments in fact and I’m not going to run through each one in this article. However I do hope that my experience in Home Affairs will be the defining point of my campaign and where I plan to do most of my good work.


Show me the way to government…

There has been a bit of a black cloud over the eUK during the past few months, despite the wonderful summer we’ve had in real life! I want to sweep that cloud away and make this an eNation people want to be a part of. As said before I’m no miracle worker, but with a supply of fun filled articles and a drive to entertain, I hope that our new and old citizens will decide to stick around and join in.

Of course you could just vote for somebody else, but it really won’t be as much fun without a bit of Wook in your life. That’s a promise.
