The old man down the road…

Hello you lovely UKRPers you!

Thank you for electing me once again as your supreme overlord. I will hopefully be able to get more of you engaged with the day-to-day shenanigans that we call eUK politics this month.


I want you bad...


First things first....a big thank you to Raw Ability who also bothered to put some effort into these latest party presidential elections. It was great to see and in recognition of that effort I have made him UKRP vice-President.





Now on to the nuts and bolts of this article....Congress.

Before you know it we'll be electing our next wonderful members of Congress, so we need to make sure we have the best of the best for our UKRP list. To that end I shall be returning to my preferred method of ordering our candidates. This involves you, the candidate, sending me a message outlining why I should put you higher up the list than everybody else.

I don't want a snoozefest from you though, I am not Applebum 😉

I would love an amusing, well thought out and perhaps outrageous personal mission statement. If you make me laugh, make me cry or even make me soil myself it will go a long way to ensuring you top the pile when we get to election day!

Once I have pressed the obligatory buttons to move all the candidates around I will publish an article explaining my choices and revealing a small titbit of your prose.

Talk to me, it’s good to talk…

My final words to you today are about trying to engage the rest of the party somewhat. For those of you who don't want to actively take part in government, but would love to have a better idea of what's actually happening in this world we call home, then I'll be sending out messages shortly.

In short I'll be asking you whether you would like to be included in a message group. A message in which I, or one of my minions, can update you on goings on or answer any questions you may have about absolutely anything. We have a varied gang of reprobates in the UKRP with experience in many areas. You could ask me about my triangle playing prowess, ask Sambo about being northern and lawyerly or even ask Dish about being Mexican.

We're mostly all happy to help you out if we can, so don't hold back....ask away!

Savour me, savour you, ahaaaaaa!

I do have one last segment that I have recently decided to call Savour me, savour you, ahaaaaaa. Last time Sir Rex got the disgustingly gratuitous mention and in this article I've promised it to Raw Ability (because he was the only sod to respond to me, even though he’s already got a mention)!

So there it is, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Enjoy it. Savour it. Remember...this could have been you we were all savouring.
