When Thedark Ace asked me to write an article about why UKRP is the best party, I decided that the only way you can truly see how good a part is, is by asking it's members. Every single member of the UKRP has their own reason for joining and then staying within the party, and by seeing what some of us think about the party, you can decide if it's the one for you.
The people whom I have asked are:
Thedark Ace - current Party President and leading member of the new generation of UKRP
Madacaion - eUK Congressman and Vice Country President, a new role designed to help train people in the area of politics and leadership
Thomas765 - Minister of Foreign Affairs, ex-Deputy Secretary General of ONE, 3x Party President and ex-Country President
Darkmantle - 3x UKRP President, 12x eUK Congressman & previous Cabinet Minister.
I believe UKRP is the best party in the eUK today, due to our party being on the rise, with an active IRC and active members, all of which are prepared to get a new player get into the game, and then aid him in any of his/her endeavours. We believe that any player who is willing to put in the effort is able to achieve his goals, and get the most out of eRepublik. I believe Reform is the best platform for a new player to get more involved in the eUK today.
UKRP not only combines common sense politics with a pragmatic approach, but also friendly banter too. UKRP has a rich history which I have enjoyed reading about, but it also has a future. A group of people committed to the eUK above all else - working for her benefit - and for her citizens.
UKRP is the best. Why? Because it has given me hope that this nation can continue to progress. Because the UKRP members are happy to help in any way they can. Not for public recognition, not for our friends and not because we're awesome (we are though) - but because the eUK deserves it. My eLife - my eAll - my UKRP
Well, thinking a party as being the best is open to debate, in my opinion. Every party has their flaws and every party has their benefits. For me, UKRP is good in a different way as it is open for debate, discussion and allows all members to get involved. Our current size, I've found, allows everyone to have some degree of input, while no single person runs the party. You could, in a way, call it a reconstruction of a party that was once glorious. We will rebuild.
In addition to that, we had our own radio station which is pretty cool when you're listening to it, however my university internet blocks it so I had to listen via my phone. It's great fun though!
Ever since I joined the UKRP, it has been my true home. From my first day within the party every member was nice, helpful and really wanted you to do well. If you ever wanted help you just had to ask and someone would help you right away, patiently explaining how to do something and why we do it. Not only that, but the members as a whole were very approachable and the UKRP was like a family.
This has never changed and is the reason I came back to the UKRP recently. The eUK has many faults, but UKRP is, no matter what it's size or who is within it, a family who helps each other out. We don't fight about issues, but rather we talk and discuss stuff internally, we work as a team to fix problems that we have and to come up with policies that define the party. Altogether, the UKRP is the most friendly place to be, and a definite top choice for all eUK citizens.
Thank you for reading!
