Hello UK Reform,

You might remember me from such hits as WookieO Does Christmas Congress and Look, Wook and Two Smoking Jackets.

I've taken a break from government recently, which has allowed me time to enjoy Congress waffle, impregnate Mrs Wook again, get caught up in terrorist attacks and learn how to play the triangle. So I thought it was about time I ran for Party President again and try and get our members engaged and even, dare I say it, excited about taking part in stuff and things.

I believe it is traditional to go over past glories to show how suited and worthy I am for the position of PP and who am I to argue with tradition?

I have been a Party President for either The Skatalites or UKRP a dozen or so times and I always attempt to inject some amusement into my month in charge. Not that it really has any bearing on how well I press PP buttons, but I have also been eUK President twice (and the treasury wasn't stolen on either occasion!), vice-President, Minister of Finance, Minister of Defence, Minister of Foreign Affairs and even had a role in the Ministry of Home Affairs (when it was actually used to inform and entertain the masses).

So what, you big lump of a hairy fool?

Indeed. So bleedin’ what?

Well I plan to keep up Dish’s attempts to get the party membership engaged with what’s going on in the eUK through regular articles, personal messages and plenty of chatting on the party feed and of course in Discord.

As always I will try and have Congress candidates do some work (perhaps merely writing a message to me) in order to secure a good slot on the Congress list.

Those of you who have survived a WookieO PP term know that I am always happy for some criticism, be it constructive or not. My main concern is apathy, which has infected most of the eUK over the last couple of years. I would hope that I can kick any apathy in the goolies with just a bit of mild interaction, some vaguely amusing words and pictures plus a healthy dose of not taking anything too seriously.
