Dear Citizens & Friends of the Union,

The Election has been won, the Rorlivution was successful and my special thanks go out to those who elected me by giving me their votes, the people for their confidence in me, the BU and the FDD for their political support, my forerunner Isy for his service to our home country, and to both of my rival candidates for a fair and clean election campaign.

I do, delightedly, accept my election as Chancellor of the Union.




During the course of the day I will assume official functions and in this context have to make four announcements already:

- In spite of my new office, I am still a private person. As to any request regarding my office, I would appreciate it if you would send them to the account "Bundeskanzleramt", a new account created earlier today. Private Messages may be addressed to my private account, which will be reserved to my good friends and ingame friendships. Therefore, I ask and thank you for your understanding.

- The outgoing President had a VERY big crew, so I would like to ask of all former public officials (from the Interior Minister, to squad leader and to all ambassadors etc.) to contact me regarding information about their positions, their exact task descriptions, the number of employed staff, current projects/current status, and a brief detailed report about whether you desire to continue your work. Should I choose someone else to continue on this line of work, I expect a clean and complete handover of operations within 48 hours.

- In order to have all of the latest happenings in German policy passed on throughout, I would like to urge every regular citizen to view the announcements of the official accounts: "Bundeskanzleramt", "Bundesministerium des Inneren", "Bundesbank" and "Bundeswehr". Unlike my predecessors, it will be updated and used frequently so it is best to subscribe to these four pages!

- One of my messages is the concept of transparency. I will not make the mistake of simply giving positions to those who are close to me. I will, until Tuesday 12am CET, take candidates for public offices. These applications should include: a) General information about your age (both ingame & RL), b) technical background, c) Your desired activity, d) spoken languages, e) a brief description of your views/visions and f) information regarding your ingame activity.

A special demand exists for candidates with a focus on programming, finance/economics and journalism. Vacancies for these positions can be found in politics, military and secret service, and in foreign service.
