(SDP) Congressional Candidature

Day 3,166, 15:02 Published in Switzerland Ireland by OogieBoogie3

Now in a twist of fortunes, I'm no longer as busy as I had perceived I'd be, thankfully that is. I do have more time indeed to invest.

I'm running for Swiss Congress again. I took a break from candidature to run for Party President last month, but I've surrendered that position to a new member when I suddenly became busy, and assumed those fortunes would continue. Thankfully and suddenly, that no longer appears to be the case, so I intend to get fully invested with all of this again.

I have, however, taken a bit of a hiatus from diplomacy. With the time restraints that had hit me recently, I couldn't invest the time necessary to promote foreign relations with our neighbors. I'm going to refrain from jumping back into that career for the time being despite of my vast experience in the field. I'm still kind of busy, but I can at least make 20-30 minutes a day to do whatever it is that I can for Switzerland.

That starts with my next congressional bid. When I made my political comeback with the mungos032 administration after a lengthy retirement, I had the privilege to serve 3 straight congressional terms, and then serve the SDP as Party President.

The SDP has had its differences with the SPP and its constituents, but I believe we can move past that and come to compromise. I myself intend to endorse whomever it is that they endorse for CP as a gesture of mutual interest. I had gotten really tied up and lost track of things about two weeks after being elected to Party President; I assumed that would continue, but now after my schedule has opened back up, I intend to take the SDP back and restore it to its original glory.
