[RN] Strike Sunday - day 3,421

Day 3,422, 03:47 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Royal Navy

Good day shipmates.

Bit of a transitional week this week, as it’s our first Strike that includes the new Fleet Arm Arm - Regiment 5. Overall things would have probably been easier if I’d remembered to add Regiment 5 to the Strike form. However, that’s been sorted now, and I changed this week’s table to reflect our pilots fighting in Strike Sunday.

Beyond that, I’m going to let things settle in for another couple of weeks, and then I’ll come up with a new strike article that properly reflects our new structure.

So, for the time being, on with the stats...

Here’s who took part in this week’s Strike Sunday, and what damage they cause😛

Overall ground damage was 157,475,147, which is DOWN on last week. Air damage was 95,290, which is UP.

Damage is all well and good, but Strike Sunday is about attendance too. This week a total of 9 sailors took part, and the regiments who sent the most people into battle was … drum roll … Regiment 5! Our new Fleet Air Arm have entered the Strike for the first time with a bang! Well done lads 🙂

Editor’s note: we’re going to need some new trophies

Here’s how the weekly regiment table looks after that result…

Weekly Regiment Attendance Leaderboard
Two points for a win, one for a draw.

↔ Regiment 2 (18 pts)
↔ Regiment 1 (8 pts)
↔ Regiment 3 (6 pts)
↔ Regiment 4 (3 pts)
↑ Regiment 5 (2 pts)

Each week one Strike Sunday participant will be picked at random to receive a special Strike Bonus of 50 Q7 weapons. I’ll get random.org to pick a number, and whoever’s in that position on the overall Strike Leaderboard gets the swag.

For the last three weeks we’ve had a rollover, making this week’s prize fund an impressive 200 Q7 weapons. This is also likely to be the last time we run the weekly draw in this format - I’ll come up with something new when I re-do the Strike articles in a couple of weeks. And, to round things off, I just picked two numbers through random.org, and got a “5” (Evil Doctor) and then a “2” (me). Both of us are ineligible.

So, to mark the end of the current weekly draw, and to celebrate our new Fleet Air Arm, this week’s prize fund will be split equally amongst everyone who took part in the Strike yesterday. Prizes will be sent out today.

Take part in Strike Sunday!
Taking part couldn’t be easier. When the Strike is running (every Sunday afternoon, normally between 5pm and 8pm UK time - check the RN feed for the time) all you have to do is:

.1. Request a strike kit in the RN in-game chatroom (or on the MU feed if you can’t get to the chatroom).
.2. Fight like you mean it.
.3. Post your damage using the link posted on the RN feed.

That’s it. Done. Sorted. Bosh.

If you want a more information, simply check out this Strike Sunday article. One day I’ll get round to doing a new article, but until then everything you need to know is in there. But don’t forget, if you take a kit you MUST post your damage, otherwise you won’t get kits in the future.

Signing off
That’s it for this week. Well done everyone!
