[PoA] Resource Wars/Announcement

Day 4,732, 13:35 Published in Austria Austria by Prince of Austria

Dear Austrians,

The Resource wars are behind us. We've managed to secure 10 resources and I'm really happy with the results. Days and days of planning, staying up all night trying to secure the best possible resources for our country. Wouldn't have done it alone. I want to use this chance to thank everyone who helped in this process. Everyone. People, the driving force of every country. Yes I pressed all the buttons but your effort secured us the resources that we will start using in just a few days. I also want to thank everyone else outside Austria, our friends who helped us and made all this a bit easier for us. As a small country in central Europe we weren't exactly able to get the best resources because we got blocked for the Rare and Very rare ones early in the event. But I have to say that we did as best as we could.

Food resources: 45%
House resources: 45%
Aircraft resources: 25%

(Schwrzy, you did better than me 😝)

These resources are drenched in blood.Because of the very nature of the event, where everyone had to fight in order to win the best possible resources, mistakes were made. Countries fighting each other, sabotaging each other. Friendships made and destroyed. A challenging month for every country. A nightmare for every president. This month is over. But the things that leaders did in order to justify the trust that people gave them when they made them presidents, will never be forgotten.

I can only speak for myself now. I've made mistakes. God only knows. I've been put in a position where I had to sacrifice things. Choose. Make the right decision. With every decision made, choosing the next one was always a bit harder. The help that was given to me in making these decisions is and always was appreciated. But the final decision was always mine.

A reconciliation month is ahead of us. New people in Austria. People with ideas, thoughts on how to make this piece of land that we all love so much, a better place. These people are not stenched by the foul smell of war. They hold the clean papers. The papers on which the future will be written.

As for me, my time is over. I hope that I've managed to fulfill half of my promises. Justify my actions in the eyes of my fellow Austrians who entrusted me in leading this great country. There is a new force that appeared in Austria, and with their help Austria will survive. It will grow stronger. And I'll be here to see that. Think of the times when I had to make the most difficult of choices. Smile, and know that everything I did, is justified in my heart.

Prince of Austria, regular citizen of Austria.
