[NAZ4CP] Utility
Azazel Romanov
In regards to my Defense and Foreign Affairs heads, I will be maintaining Khotko and Senryaku in State and Defense. I believe these are capable individuals, and I have already had fruitful conversation with Senry about USAF/USAAC affairs that I will be happy to maintain and make more productive should I win the Presidency. I am still looking for NSC members, and I am also going to be recruiting deputies for both departments to improve training and candidates for future administrations in both areas.
Leading from DoD, USAF and USAAC have both been in discussion, and I am very interested in seeing them successful. I have had discussions about both, and I have presented my opinion on the matter in other areas: that the split between the two undermines both. I’m not convinced of this yet fully, but I am leaning that way should the two bodies not perform adequately. I want to see progress and I want USAF/USAAC to be sustainable and visible. I will engage military commanders, hold talks, and hear opinions, but I will not be paralyzed with indecision and hope it works out. I intend to rock the boat.
I also have decided to pick Fingerguns as the new head of the DoCA. She has always cared about the social aspect and helping new players and I love to have her onboard to revitalize the department. She will also be bringing along the Wheel for those of you who participate, and I look forward to improving the department with changing programs and focuses that I believe will put the department back on the map and improve its visibility and utility.
Which brings me to my next point: utility. Over recent administrations, what have we been really doing to improve the utility of our government? I feel we have hit a point where we simply try to make it strong enough to pass to the next administration. I’m not a fan of the idea that something should simply survive and pass over. For example, when I was last president I sought a head of DoCA who would seek to fundamentally rework the department and evaluate program effectiveness, and Hale26 completely audited the department and kept programs that made sense and attempted to rework programs that had low importance or use. I’m going to be honest and say that I don’t know what our DoCA is currently doing. I want DoCA to be a department that even someone browsing the media can fully understand and see its impact.
Each month we are so concerned with who has what and not necessarily concerned with how we are changing the status-quo. Our desire for inclusion, partially built from our desire to be accepted and voted for, is not always the best track. I am guilty of this. Our government has become a carousel, continually revolving and never arriving, stopping for only enough time to let different people onboard to take the same course. It’s time for someone to cut the power so we can realize what is going on around us. Perhaps the problem with this campaign is that I'm not running to win, but rather I am running to govern.
I think I rambled enough. Give me your thoughts.

When you asked me to come on board you made it clear you want to overhaul DoCA. We had a really good conversation about it, as well as some other stuff you have in mind.
I am anxious to see if the country is finally ready to start doing things differently. I'm glad you're running.

Then you weren't reading media the last couple months because they were putting out some nice articles geared for the new and less informed players. Significant work was done to reestablish programs along with fine tuning them. To me, your comment belittles the work that was put in by the SoCA's the last couple months.
I recognize that DoCA has previously been active in previous months under previous secretaries, but my question is what are they doing now? Could you point me to when the last DoCA article was written and would you tell me that the current level of activity is acceptable?
They did revive programs that had essentially died. They are certainly maintaining those programs.
They had a burst of activity 2 months ago, but they failed to meet their objectives for that month and after losing their director this month, they've done little more than maintain.
That's still more than they WERE doing, as a department, but not all they could be doing. I don't think it is insulting to say there is room for improvement. I'd have difficulty voting for someone who didn't think that, actually.
Power to ya man.
Look, it's WO's twin brother!
not by a long shot
Ok then, his mentor in the early days.
hardly. more like stupid bitch.
You are my preferred candidate.
Because Khotko is a BIGLY refreshing voice in State. He handles himself professionally and is informative instead of condescending. I like that. A lot. Really a lot a lot.
Because the USAF/USAAC boat absolutely does need rocking.
And I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Fingerguns bring her talents to DoCA. It does not diminish the work of former department staff to give it a good shake up and overhaul.
Best of Luck!

Get a real job.
Men are like bullets. We will go farther, if we are smooth. I could visualize your impact.
