First of all, I commend this appointment as the only one yet from this campaign's line up that will actually go to help the country. Witherd1 is a good sort and a decent bloke.

First off - no probs with Defence planning.

BUT given the current administration's dealings in foreign affairs that are less than above board, won't the Crumpets campaign commit to turning this around with more sincere, honest and transparent communication?

Unlike Crumpets I am well aware of the actions of Withered, yourself and... others this month working against the Government and will simply not play that games with any of your kind who attempt to undermine the elected CP with your own personal agendas by taking logs out of context creating lies and deceptions.

Larni, what happened to you answering to the CP, and doing what he wants? If you are told to report to Cabinet as a whole, or to the CP only, that is his call, not yours.

MC is aware of my stance in the matter. He has made a brave choice appointing you for this position in Government. It is not something we agree on but he has chosen his own cabinet members and nobody is forcing him to alter that decision.

I however will not be part of your agenda as I have made clear to him. Like I said above, he is not truly aware of your actions this past month and wants you in a different position. Fine, I am sure you can do the information department but you are coming no where near my position.

Larni, I've had this question for days but haven't been able to post anything till today. You keep alluding to witherd1's actions this past month but never say exactly what he allegedly did. You weren't part of the XG cabinet so how are you privy to information and is it truthful information, ie. logs, etc.?

People he was talking to sent them to me asking what his deal was. I am not the only person would gets stuff like this. Most of us who have been around for a while and involved in dealing with other nations get stuff like this. Mostly people just want confirmation from a source they trust.

When the ARP originally campaigned for the presidency under Xavier Griffith, you came out vehemently opposed to hiding information from the press. In fact - your campaign hit the preceding government for hiding FA logs.

What you're now saying is just because you're in government, that makes it ok for you to do exactly the same thing.

Don't you feel hypocritical and disgusted of yourselves for lying to the people in order to achieve a mandate - just to go against precisely what you campaigned against?

Who said anything about hiding information from the press? I am sure Crumpets will release information when it is ready to be released. I am simply going to ensure that nobody like you get their hands on stuff and then take lines out of context to other nations in an attempt to undermine the Government before an official stance is even decided on.

hey Larni i hate to keep beating an old rug but ive heard about these "logs" from the moment i stepped off the boat and it seems every time your asked (twice that i have seen) to show these logs you come up with some reason not too...i wish you would show these logs if they exist (not calling you a liar but when you repeatedly say something and then take a step back it makes me wonder) and if there are logs showing that Withered acted "inappropriately" then i think people do have a right to know and to judge it for themselves instead of taking your word

Personally I wouldn't want Witherd in Cabinet after what he pulled this term.

Larni, rest assured that anything that goes out into the international arena is brought to my attention. It is simply not possible to spend as much time in the foreign service as I have and not get told things. As you pointed out - all part of the information share.

Not for nothing, as to any claims you want to make against Witherd, let me also assure you that there was more than one person in the know who came to me concerned. The names who did remain with me until the end of time.

It is clear that his ideas\actions were not acceptable to this administration so what do they have to lose to show it other then to prove your cases that he should have a significant role? Larni likes to pretend she is important, that people in powerful positions come to her. The truth is, most of the current power players dont even know her. She pretends that my logs were sent to her, but if that truly happened, she would not be making some of the comments she has made over the past few weeks.

And Larni, I dont want to be a part of your agenda either, you dont have the entire box of chocolates, and you are no good for eAus FA's, pure and simple. But you will disclose information to me if Crumpets wins, or... simply put, I wont be staying around, because I wont do a half a job, and Crumpets knows that. So it will be up to Crumpets to sort you out.

Binda... ditto. I would never want to see you near FA's for eAus again if I had anything to do with it. Quantity over quality is the worst trait a FA's Minister could ever have.

Oh, and as for my opening paragraph, I have all the logs to back up my stance on this last months government, and their foreign policy.

Im still waiting for XG to release ALL logs, either him or fingerguns, I'd be happy either way. But eAus would be shocked and we wouldnt have seen those comments from eAussies on FG's article if they knew the truth.

Once you have been a senator, you are eligible for a cabinet position if offered in the future.
then you will be able to have access to sensitive areas.

Larni lied to me about how she was privy to info about witherd1's actions this past month, she said people sent her pm's and logs, but binda33 says Larni was a silent observer of the cabinet, what else is a lie and when will we see evidence?

XG was aware what was going on and decided to do nothing about it. The thing Binda is talking about happened on the 3rd or 4th day of XG's term.... I highly doubt it took XG 20+ days to fire Witherd because of it. Actually I'm pretty sure Witherd resigned since that is what he has implied but you would have to ask someone in cabinet about that since I was only 'added' there just in case one of the new cabinet members needed advice.

I was made aware of the first Witherd incident pretty much the day it happened with a rather colourful rant from the CP. So obviously I looked into it. Its not a hard thing to do when you have contacts all around the place.

Posting logs is a sure fire way to kill peoples ability to gather intelligence. Would you provide information to someone knowing odds are that the log will reappear?

So no, I don't do that. People either trust what I have to say or they don't. I have long since passed the desire or the need to go overboard with "evidence" since in this game people have a memory span of about a month before anything that happened in the past is forgiven.

The New Zealand/Chile log I released last week was from something that happened a year ago. The source has long since left the game (well their character is dead) so there was no harm no foul in doing it.

Reading the logs could corrupt your young innocent mind Nicky, so why not wait till you are older. So you cannot have them OK!

Nicky, you can read the Senate board on the eAus forums. Look for a thread called meeting with Indo, or something like that. Binda put some logs up, but didnt put them all up until Arthur Cole and myself demanded ALL logs of that particular storyline be put up. It wasnt until then she asked be to put up logs of what I did, which I did, and explained them to Senate. Its all there on public record to read, so knock yourself out. You will note that XG did not fire me for what I did. What I did was in the best interests of eAus and the treaty, and you can see what happened when I was shut off from Chile in my Government role after that, it all went to pieces. If you have any questions about the logs or anything I did, I would be more than happy to answer them, Nicky.

And Louise... you dont have to be elected to Senate to get a Cabinet position. Maybe you should learn how things work before telling people to shut up.

^all i asked for Witherd 🙂 now that i realize that these things are public record it makes it much less entertaining....i was hoping for these logs to say "i hate Australia" or something more entertaining...i know exactly what these logs are since i read he senate forum quite often as i quickly run out of things to do on here thank you witherd

This is a mad reversal. Larni used to be all for putting the facts out there for people to see and Binda the opposite. Then again Binda truncated the section of the logs that looks like eUS did something wrong. If the whole array of logs were produced it's easy to see they didn't. It's the old high school game of 'he said this' without being able to see the follow up explanation. This is what got the eAus government into trouble in the international community. If there was a genuine case to answer, then put it out there IN FULL for all to see. To do anything else means they're hiding something - which evidently they are.

Furthermore, this government needs to watch itself when it comes to the use of the word 'trust'. This would have to be the most insular and secretive administration in a while. Half of the cabinet's membership haven't got great track records on the issue of trust, considering Larni has been caught in previous terms organising para-military efforts behind the government's back.

If we're going to have a national debate slanging off at players left and right - let's have it all out about all players. The power-playing must end.

Yes I used to release logs all the time but as I said above that method doesn't last long and after a month people forget anyway. Mostly logs just keep me up to date which who is playing what card at any given time. For the most part I am silent about it, other than when people stand up and want to try to lie to manipulate the public.

Yep I noted that. It took 20+ days for that to come about so obviously more happened and eventually the situation got to breaking point.

Witherd1 was fired for directly undermining the PM, again. He tendered a resignation and a public admonition of the administration to fake face.

XG was warned before his term began... and he after the initial "talk"... until the Public agenda was no longer his agenda. Both candidates again have the opportunity to learn the same lesson. As long as you agree with witherd1 and accept that information flows freely to anyone who asks; you'll be fine.

Again - not sure having Rellori in the Crumpets cabinet gives the team a leg to stand on when talking about drama. This guy had talks with countries calling himself "a representative of eAustralia" and trying to provoke an invasion.

The fact that witherd has supporters shows that not all people involved in politics are looking out for the best interest of the nation.

regardless of the politics - if as a Minister you do not fully support your PM you should resign. Ministers with their own agendas are not acceptable.
