[MoMC] Media Policy

Citizens of ePakistan,
As you all know have been appointed as Minister of Media and Culture. I have worked last week on developing a media policy. Regardless of whom I support or who I envy, media should be an independent institution free from political influence and as Minister of Media and Culture I am going to promote the free and unbiased media. In-order to do this I have decided introduce ePakistan Media Policy.
ePakistan Media Policy
DEFINATIONS
1. Ministry refers to “Ministry of Media and Culture”
2. Minister refers to “Minister of Media and Culture”
3. Ruling Party refers to “The Party of the Elected President”
THE POLICY
1. Minister of Media and Culture will be in-charge of Ministry of Media and act as liaison between the people of ePakistan and Government.
2. Ministry will be responsible for presenting the government’s point of view from time to time to people of ePakistan and will also communicate the issues raised by the general public.
3. Ministry will have three operational departments. Each Operational department will be headed by Secretary whose powers will be equal to that of a Deputy Minister.
4. The Operational Departments will be as follows
- Information Department.
- Communication Department.
- Cultural Department
5. Secretary Information will responsible for :
- Disseminating information to public in regards to government actions.
- Information department will also provide any information to government that he seems relevant to the affairs of the government.
- Secretary Information should on regular basis be in-touch with other government departments, foreign government officials and ambassadors
6. Secretary Communication will be responsible for:
- Communication Secretary will interact with the public and will present the requests, complaints and suggestions of the public to Minister. Minister will present such requests, complaints and suggestions given by the public to the cabinet.
- Communication department main role is bridge the gap between the government and the citizens. Secretary communication will be responsible of keeping track of all the complaints , requests and suggestions and update the citizen the in regards to the progress on such complaints, requests and suggestions
- Communication Department will also be responsible for organizing Cabinet Meetings, National Meetings and other events that allow the citizens to communicate with those in government.
7. Secretary Cultural Affairs will be responsible for:
- Secretary Cultural department will be responsible for promoting positive media activity by writing, articles of cultural and historical importance as well as promoting patriotism among the citizens.
8. Procedure of appointing Secretaries:
- Secretaries will be appointed by Minister for a term of 2 months.
- Secretary Information shall be from the ruling party at the time of first appointment
- Secretary Communication shall be selected from the opposition parties.
- Secretary Cultural Affairs will be appointed from a public vote for those who they deem fit and enjoy reading in media. Only individuals who do not hold a public office can be suggested by Citizens of ePakistan
- Minister can fire the secretary at any time however reasons should be reasonable.
In the end I would like the honourable party presidents to nominate one man from their party for these positions I will be creating a thread with Party Presidents of both leading parties.

Sure, let me give my suggestions.
Did you check TDK's suggestions in the PM? There are lots of suggestions.
You need to write interesting articles, write about different Pakistani players, take their RL info and do an interview about it.
Ok anyways, lets get to some productive work. I will give you some suggestions and some ideas which you can work upon.
First of all, a new HQ is going to be elected today in Asteria. It is best we take advantage of the situation, start a referendum whether we should join Asteria or Sirius and tell Asteria we want to become member of LETO or we will join the other side.
Another suggestion,
publish articles every 2nd day. Whether its about Pakistan or not, just write something, anything at all. Update them about international events, stuff that has happened in the government, in parties, etc. Just basic news.
Make an announcement to the nation to save energy bars from now on, if you are looking forward to an AS.
Make an open immigration, allow everyone to come in, who is a reasonable person, not PTO'ers. We need to increase our population. Create an immigration policy.
Make a HoC, Put in new mentors. Propose a new citizen message, update us with the full cabinet, make each cabinet member write an article introducing themselves. Start a donation campaign to donate to the Pakistani treasury, write an article showing all funds and everything to keep it transparent. Take the orgs back and utilize them and make press releases from there. Take 700 gold from the treasury, store it in the org and use the monetary market to make money. Use the forum, promote forum activity. Discuss important issues on the forum, empower the citizens. Sign an MPP, Sign more than 1 MPP's. Set CoTD's for allies, make joint military actions of our MU's. Show our allies we are fighting for them.
policies and procedure create guidelines to promote good quality work. this is what bureaucracy is that create wonderful work at a snail pace. Ahsan one advise though do not ask parties to appoint media should be independent as you suggested, i would recommend you as an MoMC to appoint people who you know to be honest and non-bias.
