mIRC Tutorial. 5 super easy steps.

mIRC is a very easy program to use, most active people in eNL will use this program and can help with questions or problems.
You can download mIRC from; www.mirc.com.
After downloading and installing mIRC, open it and you you will see this screen (pic below).

1) You do not actually have to register to use mIRC, so you can keep on using it for free even after the ‘trial’ period. Click Continue on both pop ups.

Which then should open the ‘mIRC Options’ screen, simply fill in the Nickname you want to use and then select ‘Servers’ on the left.

2) Make sure you select Rizon and hit Select on the right. (most countries, including ours, in erepublik will use the Rizon server, though some might use others.)

3) After that just hit OK and you can join any channel you like by doing the command ‘/join #channel‘.

After doing so, you should register your nickname so you can be given voice (+v) or higher depending on position within eNL.

4) To register your nickname.

/msg NickServ REGISTER password email

The email address must be a valid email address you can use, and the password must be a valid password (it cannot be your nickname or less than 5 characters long).

After issuing that command, an email will be dispatched with a confirmation code to your email address, copy and paste the codes within 24 hours from your email address you just registered to complete the registration process; otherwise the nick will be available for others to register:

/msg nickserv confirm confirmationCode

5) Presuming you get the code instantly, go back to options which is on the top under ‘tools’.

In the category, select ‘Options’ under ‘Connect’ which then you should see the same as the pic below. Select ‘Perform’ on the right.

Make sure you tick the “Enable perform on connect” so it does this automatically each time you connect. Change the *your password here* with your actual password and change the #channels to the channels you wish to join.

Some interesting channels you might like to join;
#eunl - the national community channel.
#nl-army - the national army channel.
#nl-supply - the place where you can ask for supplies during important battles.
#erepublik - the support channel for the game.
#wiki - the official channel for the erepublik wiki.
#help - the Rizon help channel.

This is a very basic tutorial and hasn’t gone in any detail, should you require help message the MoHA or the in-game or perhaps someone is willing to help you on IRC. (most of the time someone will be willing to help you)

mIRC is een erg simpel programma om te gebruiken, veel (misschien wel de meeste) actieve mensen in eNL gebruiken dit programma en kunnen je altijd helpen met vragen of problemen.
Het is te downloaden van; www.mirc.com.
Na het downloaden en installeren van mIRC, open het en je zult dit scherm zien.

1) Je hoeft mIRC niet te registreren om het te gebruiken, ook na de “trial” periode blijft het gewoon gratis werken.. Klik op continue op beide pop ups.

Dit zou dan het “mIRC opties” scherm moeten open, vul jde nickname die je wilt gebruiken in en selecteer “Servers” aan de linkerkant.

2) Zorg dat je Rizon selecteert en klik op select aan de rechterkant. (veel landen ook onze gebruiken de Rizon server, hoewel er enkelen kunnen zijn die anderen gebruiken.)

3) Hierna klik je op OK en kun je elk kanaal dat je wilt gebruiken ‘joinen’ dit doe je heel eenvoudig met het commando ‘/join #channel‘.

Hierna, is het belangrijk om je nickname te registeren bij Rizon, zodat je voice (+v) of hogere rechten kunt krijgen die bij je positie in eNL hoort.

4) Om je nickname te registeren:

/msg NickServ REGISTER password email

Het mailadres moet echt zijn (en in gebruik), het paswoord moet langer als 5 karakters zijn en mag niet je nickname zijn.

Nadat je dit commando hebt gebruikt krijg je een mail met een confirmatie code, kopier dit naar mIRC en je registratie zal compleet zijn. Doe je dit niet dan kunnen andere mensen jouw nickname gebruiken en/of registreren.

/msg nickserv confirm confirmationCode

5) Ervanuit gaande dat je de code onmiddelijk krijgt, ga je nu terug naar options dit staat boven in de balk onder ‘Tools’.

In de category selecteer ‘Options’ onder ‘Connect’ ,nu zou je het zelfde moeten zien als de pic hieronder. Selecteer ‘Perform’ aan de rechterkant.

Het is belangrijk dat je “Enable perform on connect” aantikt, want dan gebeuren de commando’s altijd als je online komt. Verander de *your password here* met je eigen paswoord en verander de #channels naar de kanalen die je wilt joinen/gebruiken.

Enkele interesante kanalen die je misschien wilt joinen:
#eunl - het nationale community kanaal.
#nl-army - het nationale leger kanaal.
#nl-supply - de plaats waar je kan vragen voor wapens tijdens belangrijke gevechten.
#erepublik - het support kanaal van het spel.
#wiki - het officiele kanaal voor de erepublik wiki.
#help - het Rizon help kanaal.

Dit is maar een simpele tutorial en gaat niet op de uitgebreide details in, heb je nog hulp nodig stuur dan de MoHA een in-game bericht of kijk of er op IRC iemand is die wil helpen. (meestal is er wel iemand on-line om te helpen)
