Beste burgers van eNederland,
De stemmen zijn geteld, en de uitslag is bekend!
Aan de resultaten zijn een aantal dingen op te merken.
Ten eerste de grote hoeveelheid lege zetels. Wel 13 zetels zijn verloren gegaan... Dit heeft te maken met het feit dat er minder kandidaten op de lijst stonden dan dat er zetels verdiend zijn. Hierdoor kan het ook dat Iron & Wine met 1 stem meer toch 1 zetel minder heeft dan Verenigd Nederland. Iron & Wine had blijkbaar maar 2 kandidaten op de lijst staan, en de rest van de zetels zijn dus verloren gegaan.
Maar dit geldt voor alle partijen! De ideale verdeling was geweest:
ReL 26,9% van de stemmen, dus 11 zetels
DemNL 22,2% van de stemmen, dus 9 zetels
GPN 20,6% van de stemmen, dus 8 zetels
I&W 15,9% van de stemmen, dus 6 zetels
VN 14,3% van de stemmen, dus 6 zetels
Dit betekent dat bij alle partijen minstens 2 zetels verloren zijn gegaan...
Hoe kunnen we dit voorkomen?
Het is natuurlijk erg zonde dat er zoveel zetels verloren gaan, want dit betekend een gemiste kans voor iedereen die iets wil betekenen voor eNederland!
Maar het probleem is makkelijk op te lossen: Stel jezelf kandidaat!
Als congreslid hoef je slechts actief te zijn op het forum (en natuurlijk in-game), en je kunt meebeslissen over alle belangrijke zaken in eNederland.
Dus ik hoop de volgende verkiezingen vollere lijsten te zien!

The votes are counted, and the results are here!
There are a few remarks that can be made concerning these results.
To start the huge amount of empty seats. A total of 13 seats were lost... This has to do with the fact that there were less candidates on the list than seats earned. This makes it possible that Iron & Wine, with 1 vote more, has one seats less than Verenigd Nederland. Iron & Wine apparently only had 2 candidates on their list, and the remainder of their earned seats are lost.
But this goes up for all parties! The ideal result would have been:
ReL 26,9% of the votes, which makes 11 seats
DemNL 22,2% of the votes, which makes 9 seats
GPN 20,6% of the votes, which makes 8 seats
I&W 15,9% of the votes, which makes 6 seats
VN 14,3% of the votes, which makes 6 seats
This means that every party lost 2 or more seats...
How can we prevent this?
It's of course a terrible shame that such an amount of seats are lost, because it is a missed opportunity for everyone who wants to do something for the eNetherlands!
But the problem is easily solve
As a congress member you only have to be active on the forum (and of course in-game), and you can have a say in the important matters of the eNetherlands.
So I hope to see longer lists next elections!

Gwom.. you've outdone yourself once again. This is refreshing!
The problem is the damn forum is useless and a few want to oblige us participate there, when the abuse is more than perceptible and the non conclusion in different discussions.
Actually the whole political module is screwed in Netherlands.
Great you report it this way!
I do not agree on the solution however. The system we have with forum obligations and the way forum works is outdated/not working for years now and needs to change as a lot of players will not candidate due to the forum. Revvenge posted a solution a while back but that hasn't been adopted aparently while it was a great solution with hardly, if any, downsides for eNL given the way we work and are organised in game atm. Only the handfull of hardcore forum lovers would experience a downside. But as forum should be supporting the game itself rather than the other way round that should not be a problem if your intentions are best for eNL.
