Much has been said of the flaws in eRepublik him that in real life is the most powerful country in the world. What is the real story behind the legend? How and why all these failures occurred?

So yes, I did not intend for it to get out of control. I have spoken with Former President Frost and he is well aware of the shock - I ran under that joke with the assumption that Frost's successes and victories would be met with a landslide re-election. Obviously bugs with the Party Endorsements, National Goals, and the U.K. Invasion comments all contributed to yesterday's results. Do I plan to invade the UK? We'll see.
Well, sure, I am not bringing a war to the United Kingdom. To give you my apologies, I have decided that I want to give our economy a good boost. How is that? By declaring war on Japan.

Both Japan and Phoenix have made a grave error. That mistake was underestimating just how important Japan is, or to be more specific, just how important Kyushu is. This region has the highest concentration of High Iron region in eRepublik.

For EDEN, this is an intolerable situation, and is one that they greatly desire to correct. And thus comes the question, how do you correct the problem of Phoenix having large reserves of Iron? Simple, you invade and take them over. And who is the closest major EDEN power to the living heart of Hungary and Iran’s economies? That power would be the United States. And how does the USA get to the Iron? You either go through Russia and its massive MPP list…or Kyushu?

So what does this mean for Japan? It probably means Tokyo will remain completely free of the hated Gaijin, since Japan is not really worth anything to the United States. The only province that matters is Kyushu. If the United States wins this war to its ultimate conclusion; we will have a High Iron region, a critical resource we have always lacked. This will transform the American economy into a major force.

Tanto o Japão e PHOENIX fizeram um grave erro. Esse erro foi subestimar quão importante é o Japão, ou para ser mais específico, o quão importante é Kyushu. Esta região dá acesso à maior concentração de High Iron (ferro) do eRepublik.

I would learn later that our position near Miyazaki was just one portion of the massive EDEN invasion of Kyushu. All up down the length of the islands pacific coast, US and Allied forces were unleashing a merciless barrage into the defending Japanese and Phoenix forces.

The ship’s Public Address system buzzed. “Attention, this is the Captain. At 1200 Hours, Eastern Standard time, the United States of America formally issued notice to the Empire of Japan our intention to declare war. As of now, all ties of peace and friendship between the United States and Japan are severed.

This battle however is far from over. All the soldiers know this is a one shot deal. If we win, we will be one step closer to driving Phoenix out of East Asia. If we lose, we may never again have an opportunity like this. Our brave men and women are fighting hard in Japan, and you should too! This is not about revenge, this about driving our enemies away from occupied territories they have held for too long.

Japan on its own does not have the military capability to halt a major offensive by the United States, let alone a USA backed by the major powers of EDEN. To compensate, Phoenix is almost certain to send their military forces to Japan and try to halt the American attack. Phoenix has stupidly left the back door to Asia wide open and they are going to do everything in their power to make certain that door is shut... this time permanently. This is what makes the Battle of Kyushu a do or die struggle for the United States. Another opportunity like this will not come again for months, if ever.

The Battle of Kyushu is perhaps the most important battle ever fought by the EDEN Alliance. This is the first time EDEN has gone on the offensive since its conception, and winning this battle will open the Asian theater to a major EDEN presence for the first time. For their part, Phoenix will want to do everything they can to stop the Allies. East Asia has been their playground for months, and if EDEN drives all the way to High Iron in China, the Phoenix weapons industry will be gutted over night

O Japão sozinho não tem a capacidade militar para brecar uma grande ofensiva dos Estados Unidos, muito menos um EU apoiado pelas grandes potências do EDEN. Para compensar, é praticamente certo que a PHOENIX enviará suas forças militares para o Japão a fim de tentar parar o ataque americano. Dokomo would not budge. He could not, and I respect him for that. I told him openly our plans, to go through Kyushu, attack a region in Japan to open up a free war with China, and with Chinese cooperation we would ravage the colonies in Asia and return them to their proper owners. We would never do this without Chinese cooperation, although we very well could.

It is not the mission of my administration to strong arm into securing our defense by disabling weaker nations. It is the mission of my administration to increase the survivability and interests of not only American citizens, but also of citizens around the globe. It just so happens Japan was between us.

After our insults, our circles we were talked into, and misleading promises the Joint Chiefs of Staff (military leaders) and myself decided to go ahead and make a bold move. We would declare war, force our way through Japan, and then leave it.

Dokomo não se moveria. Ele não podia, e eu respeito-o por isso. Unfortunately, as I have stated, the disarming of the imperialist powers and the protection of our allies come before all else
It is not in my own or in the world's interest to see the United States as a force attempting to occupy a peaceful nation. That is for Indonesia, Hungary, and Iran. I just hope that one day you, the people, will be able to forgive the nation of U.S.A. for what I have done and we can again work towards positive relations.
Again, to the Japanese people, I hope this is not the destruction of the relations between our nations.

Peço desculpas ao povo do Japão por este movimento. Eu entendo que a sua neutralidade é algo que você defende e é uma neutralidade verdadeira, ao contrário do que vemos nas Ilhas Britânicas. We did not threaten, we did not make promises we would not keep. We were, however, insulted, mocked, and even was told we were pansies and would never do it.

President Jewitt assured us, "One lost battle does not mean a lost war, and there will be plenty where that came from."
"Now were gonna get trolled to hell."
Jewitt stops short, turns and looks me square in the eye. It burned.
"Well, we lost." I about shit my drawers. He continued, "But we shouldn't be too used to winning everything. Sometimes a loss on the battlefield is a win in our pockets. Phoenix/what ever they call themselves out spent us and lost a lot of money. They are in worse shape wellness wise than us, but that does not change the fact that Kyushu is still in Nippon."

"Bem, nós perdemos". Quase me caguei nas calças. Ele continuou: "Mas não devemos nos acostumar a vencer tudo. Às vezes, uma perda no campo de batalha é uma vitória para os bolsos. PHOENIX / ou seja-lá-como-se-chamam, perderam um monte de dinheiro. Eles estão em pior forma de saúde do que nós, mas isso não muda o fato de que Kyushu ainda está em mãos japonesas".

Japan successfully shafts China and India (USA)

As of now, with the Phoenix victory in Japan, both China and India are in grave danger. EDEN must now assume a burdensome defensive responsibility with little hope of resolving the situation in the near term. As we know from countless articles, forum posts, advertisements and shouts, numerous American citizens refused to get informed about the situation and assumed the war was a naked act of aggression.

The Kyushu door is shut. Its unlikely EDEN will make any further efforts on it, and its just as unlikely Phoenix will let their MPP’s lapse with Japan again. For Japan’s part, they will congratulate themselves on defending their neutrality, but in truth they will be reduced to a dependent Phoenix state.

As for the United States, this will most likely conclude any offensive effort on our part. eRepublik V2 comes out in a few weeks and the US is unlikely to make any major campaign moves (like invading the UK) until after the new war module is released. Believe it or not folks, an invasion of the UK would be an enormous undertaking, and could conceivably launch a war that could last for weeks. In short, you do not want to be in the middle of a military campaign when eRepublik Admins decide its time to upgrade the game.

A partir de agora, com a vitória de PHOENIX, no Japão, a China e a Índia estarão em grave perigo. today we showed our response to the recent actions of the United States of America. It was a busy night and two days of fighting after the US president Jewitt started a declaration of war against Japan, the most peaceful country in eRepublik. We tried to stop them and Woldy started to hit the attack button on the USA but they retreated all attacks. Nevertheless, PHOENIX worked hard in the past two days to develop different strategies to stop USA. In the end we decided to face the evil head on in Japan and show them they should fear our new strength.

You are just looking like a sore loser by attacking some weak country and not pulling it off. You have to ask yourself the following: If you claim to be superior to us and claim you can win whenever you want show it to us and let´s have some fun! And stop sneaky attacks.

Hoje, nós mostramos a nossa resposta às recentes ações dos Estados Unidos da América. Foi uma noite movimentada e dois dias de combate, depois que o presidente estadunidense Jewitt declarou guerra contra o Japão, o país mais pacífico do eRepublik. Tentamos pará-los, mas Woldy começou a apertar o botão de ataque dos EU. Eles perderam em todos os ataques. PHOENIX, entretanto, trabalhou duro nos últimos dois dias para desenvolver diferentes estratégias a fim de parar os EU. No final, decidimos enfrentá-los frente-a-frente no Japão e mostrar a eles que devem temer a nossa nova força.

Vocês parecem agora como um perdedor pusilâme, que atacou um país fraco e não conseguiu. Vocês tem que se perguntar o seguinte: Se pretendem declarar-sem superior a nós e afirmam que podem ganhar sempre que quiserem precisam mostrar isso para nós e vamos ter algum divertimento! E parem de ataques furtivos.
Esta é a primeira vitória da aliança PHOENIX, e fizemos a EDEN nunca esquecê-lo.

Mafalda is undoubtedly the best known argentina girl in the world. It was created by cartoonist Quino for an advertising campaign in 1963. Was published continuously for 9 years (1964-1973), translated around the world, turned to a UNICEF ambassador. Criticism of these strips remain current and Quino Mafalda way to be, inquisitive and humorous, inherited by continuous generations.

Mafalda é, sem dúvida, a menina argentina mais conhecida do mundo. Foi criada pelo cartunista Quino para uma campanha publicitária em 1963. Foi publicada ininterruptamente durante 9 anos (1964-1973), traduzida ao redor do planeta, virou até embaixadora da UNICEF. As críticas presentes nas tiras de Quino permanecem atuais e o jeito Mafalda de ser, questionador e humorado, herdado por continuas gerações.
