I reverse image searched this picture and the only place it appears is on twitter by Skopians or on Skopian websites. Not a single historical archive seems to boast this picture so I must ask for a source. In addition, the only mention Gladstone ever made of Macedonia was in 1897 on the 6th February in a letter quoted in the Times on Gladstones opinion of a Balkan confederation where he speaks of a Macedonian state in the context of uniting the Greeks and Slavs against the Ottomans by creating a common state. Google Balkan Federation. The early idea for it was to create a Civic nation like Switzerland to resolve Greco-Slavic disputes over the geographic territory of Macedonia controlled by the Ottomans.

When you will figure it out that our alphabet is spoken by more than 200M people... i dont know why people like you cant understand we cant understand only serbs/croats/bulgarians we can understand russian/ukrainian/slovakian/czech and a bit polish also slovenian
