Ето че след всичките поздравителни статии от днес, дойде време да сложим и черешката на тортата 🙂







Ще започна с едно бързо представяне на английски:

Hello, dear friends. Today Bulgaria celebrates 135 years from the signing of the Treaty of San Stefano(Source1; Source2)! It is the end of the war between Russia and Turkey, which had lasted for dozens of years before that. The more important part is that the treaty ends the 482-year-long rule of the Ottoman Empire (later renamed to Turkey) over Bulgaria (which is the last of the Balkan states to get liberated, because of its close proximity to the capital of the Turks).

Many Bulgarian, Russian and from other allied countries soldiers fought hard and paid with their lives in order what we call today Republic of Bulgaria to shine. Today we honour those people and thank them for their sacrifice. Today is the day, when we recall how the third Bulgarian kingdom was started (the first was in 681 and the second - in 1186)! We will always remember the years before our liberation and today is the day when we remember, where we started to build our country from!
