Ladies and Gentlemen,

The recent events of the Primary Country President election have proven difficult. The official result dictated that def0 had been voted for, by the "Swiss People", to lead our country next term.

The Swiss People, as referred to in this primary election, was less than half of our population. Is it truly a democracy if only half (of the active population) the nation has a say in who will lead us next term?

I do not doubt the capabilities of def0 in any way. He is a strong candidate, who will definitely push forward for our country. However, if it is truly to be a democratic vote, why not just hold elections in-game?

I am running for President, as you have seen from viewing the candidature polls, and will be doing so regardless of primary elections or not.





FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Since the Romanian PTO, many of our allies have lost contact with us. Coming out of this PTO, it would be best to build up relations with our old allies and form new ones. During the current term, we looked at several alliances that we could join, with one offering membership to us, which would be available to us in several months. My team and I will be looking at joining an alliance, attempting to gain membership with aligned nations.
We will also be maintaining a strong relationship with Slovenia, looking to further progress our two nations' prosperity.


FOREIGN AFFAIRS SUMMARY
- Build up relations with our old allies as well as form new ones
- Maintain a strong and beneficial relationship with Slovenia
- Create new relations by reaching out to other nations


DEFENCE & HOME AFFAIRS

This term was quite cautious for us as we ventured out of the Dictatorship stage into a democracy once again. Many of us were quite reluctant to continue back into separate parties again, and even with these forthcoming Presidential elections we melted into chaos once more. My sole focus will be pushing towards a program which gives citizens an opportunity to loan gold from the Government in order to upgrade their training grounds. This will give citizens the opportunity to rise through the ranks, as well as improving our national defence. We will also begin to co-ordinate strikes on IRC, showing off our national strength to our allies when they most need it.


DEFENCE SUMMARY

HOME AFFAIRS

Home Affairs encompasses many things, including security, social wellbeing and national integrity. In the past several months, we have lost access to the University of Switzerland, as well as witnessing a general decline in activity amongst our brothers and sisters. I applaud the Minister of Education for December 2015, TheTrendoReborn for an amazing effort in activities and effort.

Security is also big issue here, being a small country, we are extremely vulnerable to PTO. There is currently no dedicated task force for organising elections and sorting through citizenship applications. In order for this all to take place, the Ministry of Education will dissolve, forming the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Minister will monitor elections, provide activities for the public and also update the University of Switzerland.


HOME AFFAIRS SUMMARY
- Dissolve the Ministry of Education to form the Ministry of Home Affairs
- Create an Immigration Taskforce to deal with citizenship requests
- Promote activity through more competitions and activities





My overall goal for this term is to increase activity and our global presence. Now that we are back in control, we need to show ourselves to the world.
I'm running for Country President this month, and I would be overjoyed if you could come with me on the journey.
