[JK4Presidente] - On Origins and the Leadership Team

How’s it hanging America? Little to the left and almost scrapping the floor? …. Hue, Penis Jokes.

Anyways, joking aside, lets get down to what this article is about. In my last one, I announced at the end of it that I was putting forward my name for PotUS Candidature, although slightly ironically that I did so at the end of a VP Article.

In this Article, I wanted to help you get to know me a little better while introducing you to the Top 2 people in my team who will help me the most


From Humble Origins … so to speak.

Although it doesn’t seem so long ago, I joined this game just over 2 and a half years ago in the Summer of 2010 (July 16th so my profile tells me), so I joined right in the middle of V2. I was invited here by my friend Haliman while we were both playing a different game, although I sneakily registered on my own … No referral gold from me 😃

At first, I was confused as hell … V2 was like that, but with Hali’s help, I got to grips with the basics and for the next 3-6 months, I was the perennial 2-clicker, I wasn’t interested in advancing yet because I had NO idea where the hell to look. After that initial period, I left Hali’s employment and started my own company, started on the path to being a business mogul, back when the economy WASN’T as bad (It was a lot better back then than it is now).

That was the direction I took for the next few months, employing people, paying them fair wages, trying to keep them in the game by offering assistance, I felt great. That came to a crashing halt when Plato made the change from Grain, Iron, Oil and all the good resources and grouped them into the Raw Materials we see today. Suddenly, my path crumbled and I had no idea where to go until Hali suggested I join him in the National Guard of the eUS Military, who at the time was the Official Military (I won’t go any further into that subject, too messy).

It was there I started truly playing the game … I started meeting people, started paying attention to what was going on in the country and world. My time spent on eRep rocketed from about 20 minutes to 4 hours a day, and that was only the beginning. The military couldn’t sate my ambition … I always wanted something more from myself, I wanted to do something more for the country. Again, the suggestion came from Hali in the form of asking me to be his deputy PAC in AMP. That was the beginning of my career in politics as such.

To cut the long story short from here, I slowly worked my way up through the party, serving in a multitude of positions culminating in being Party President … strangely enough 2 years after I’d joined. It allowed me to meet even more people and get even more involved and it was through the party I served in the government … which I’ve done so on and off for the past half a year.

And that is where I am today …


The Leadership Team! – My amazing VP

Now, I won’t go rehashing my old thoughts too thoroughly, which you could probably read from my last PotUS attempt in December, but I have always viewed the VP as something MORE than a political appointment to garner votes. Without further ado, I present to you my Vice President and amazing running partner!


JEFFERSON LOCKE!

Until last month, I’d never really heard of him, through my own stupidity really since I was very party centric. I was asked to take him on as my Deputy under Inwegen’s Presidency in December and I thought “Why not, it’ll be nice to work with and meet someone new”. Since then, a friendship has been forged between us (I half expect some “GAY” comments for that xD) that I didn’t anticipate.

This man has helped me change from the old me into a more accepting and universal person. He’s helped me come to appreciate the Federalist Party for once and shown me that not every rival party are full of douchebags. We regularly joke around on all sorts of subjects, but what gets me the most is his impeccable work ethic. Joking is only half of what he does, the other half is he works his ass off when given a task. Any government action taken during the past month has been the result of him working with the DHS and vice versa … they never let up.

I know he’s a great choice because we also share the same thoughts on the VP Position, and he’s fully aware of what’s expected of him and I KNOW 100% he will give his heart and 20 buckets of sweat a blood to deliver that!


The Leadership Team Part 2 – The Awesome CoS

I’ve been CoS … it’s not always the easiest job because you sometimes feel a little left out the loop and not sure how to go about doing your job without stepping on your bosses toes. Lucky for me, my CoS is one person I don’t have to worry about this with, and so I give you my Chief of Staff!


ARTELA

Now, I’d just like to start this by saying everybody in my government is picked for ability … No vote pandering, no political back room deals, no “friends only” … Ability is what counts in my government and that is what I feel should be the ONLY key to getting a job in the Executive. A lot of people will claim “Brits be taking over!” … Funnily enough, we both identify ourselves as feeling closer to eAmerica than our native nations. Artela moved over here because she disliked the eUK, and I’ve been an eAmerican since the day I was eBorn.

Artela was picked for that exact reason above. I’ve worked with her since I was her Secretary of Media during her 2nd term (my own government breakthrough in fact), and I feel as though I’ve got to know her well. She’s hard working and a lot of the time, this work isn’t always known to people or appreciated … but not once does she complain or demand thanks. Instead she puts her head back down and carries on working as hard as she can not for herself, but for the nation.

She is possibly one of the best task masters I know, and not because she’s scary (She CAN be if she wants to be though), but because her way of getting people to do something is through them offering their co-operation unyieldingly. The way she asks them to do tasks makes them practically jump over themselves to do it because they don’t want to disappoint her. That’s what makes her the perfect fit for the job.



Now, I know some will say or comment “This article contains no information on your policies” and things to that effect. You’re correct, it doesn’t … but don’t misconstrue that for me hiding things or trying to keep you in the dark. I purposely left out policy information because I want to include it with the announcement of my teams so you can see the policies and who will be helping me fulfil them together. So I WILL share my policies, you just have to wait for the subsequent articles.
