[ITA/EN] eItalian military coup: Government point of view

Abbiamo voluto scrivere questo articolo perché riteniamo sciocco lasciare che l’unica informazione sul fatto sia quella di “regime”, fatta di notizie non documentate, accuse infamanti e auto-celebrazioni; vogliamo presentarvi una sintesi fattuale di come sono andate le cose ed esporvi il nostro punto di vista e le nostre ragioni; le immagini che corredano quest’articolo sono tutte opere di artisti iberofoni… dopotutto, una rivoluzione senza arte è come pretendere di cambiare il sistema coi soldi, col potere la violenza e l’avidità.
L’articolo è scritto stato scritto a più mani, chi vi parla è idealmente il Governo riunito.



Cosa è successo? - La guerra fratricida

Il 26 Febbraio, aprendo l’home page di eRepublik abbiamo trovato la guerra civile aperta da Titan DC, comandante di MORA.
Francamente, siamo stati colti un po’ di sorpresa (?): il giorno prima, sia in un articolo, sia in chat, sia nel messaggio circolare aperto tra le unità militari, diversi esponenti di MORA, ai vertici della stessa, non solo avevano smentito e rinnegato la volontà di effettuare un colpo di Stato, ma addirittura schierandosi contro ogni dittatura nell’eMondo. In più, crediamo fermamente di aver fatto il possibile per ascoltare tutte le unità militari, per non lasciare alcuno escluso: mentre si discuteva sull’accordo tra Elite ed Esercito eItaliano (ora già ufficializzato), ci siamo mossi per prestare orecchio all’esigenza anche delle altre forze militari presenti nella community, MORA in primis.
Allo stesso modo, non ci siamo sottratti, per quanto possibile, al confronto con le forze politiche presenti in Congresso, anche se ciò è stato preso come segno di debolezza; dall’altra parte, però, abbiamo trovato alcuni interlocutori che conservano le rimostranze in fase di dibattimento e di decisione e le tirano fuori negli articoli o nelle motivazioni per l’impeachment; l’opposizione dovrebbe portare al Governo una visione altra delle cose, di modo da dargli più strumenti per prendere scelte che vadano bene a tutti, non lasciarlo fare giusto per inanellare motivazioni con cui attaccarlo.



Perché hanno fatto questo? - Il Paese cannibale

Non conosciamo le reali motivazioni né potremo mai saperle con certezza: per questo, in questa sede non vogliamo aprire una dissertazione sulle loro intenzioni, poiché sarebbe mera dietrologia; noi ci rimettiamo ai fatti.
Pubblicamente, i vertici di MORA hanno fatto emergere diverse posizioni: è stato detto che lo si faceva per il prestigio della Nazione (come se combattersi a vicenda in lotte fratricide sia un pregio per una community), per raggiungere il primato dittatoriale per l’unità militare MORA (tra l’altro non raggiunto), per cacciare alcuni individui dalle posizioni di potere, per proteggere la Nazione da un colpo di stato effettuato da stranieri e per divertirsi un po’ tutti assieme. Sugli argomenti che prevedevano un ripristino della democrazia e una guerra civile volta al bene della Nazione, abbiamo i nostri dubbi: perché stato fatto da un momento all’altro, senza contattare il Governo? Perché spendere tutti quei soldi, per aprire la guerra e combattere da entrambi i fronti quando quelle risorse potevano essere usate per difendersi da un eventuale tentativo da parte di stranieri?
Sugli argomenti che adducono come motivazione la ricerca di divertimento o di prestigio, nutriamo delle perplessità; è proprio vero che si sono scontrati due fronti ma non era, banalmente e superficialmente, una lotta tra unità militari, era uno scontro tra weltanschauung: da un lato quelli che ritengono di poter spendere cifre molto alte per prendere una medaglietta e divertirsi sparandosi contro, dall’altro quelli che debbono centellinare le risorse per garantire un divertimento non effimero. Francamente, credo che se si siano indubbiamente divertiti gli ubertank, mentre la parte della community più numerosa è rimasta a guardare allibita l’enorme dispendio di energie.
Oltre al danno, la beffa: è stato anche detto che il colpo di stato ha riportato in attività giocatori che mai avrebbero sparato contro un nemico esterno e che ha unito una community da sempre divisa; tuttavia, si tratta di unione contro un nemico, per farla diventare duratura si pensa forse di conservare le ostilità tra il gruppo al potere e gli altri eitaliani per sempre? Per far sparare tutti, invece, basterebbe mettere in piedi un sistema serio di coordinazione, che da troppo tempo manca, ma non esiste una bacchetta magica che risolve in pochi giorni un problema endemico.

Di fronte a queste motivazioni discordanti, all’incoerenza dimostrata e ad alcune frasi deliranti (è stato anche detto falsamente che c’era un Accordo col Governo sul colpo militare…), abbiamo ritenuto di non poterci fidare di MORA.
All’inizio, abbiamo pensato di poterli contrastare, è stato un errore di valutazione. Se in questo mese abbiamo cercato di stringere la cinghia e risparmiare in modo da dare un futuro allo Stato, ora si presentava il pericolo della distruzione dello stesso: per questo, abbiamo operato nel rispetto delle regole stabilite nel corso di questi anni della community e destinato i fondi a nostra disposizione alla difesa, anche perché arrenderci senza combattere proprio non ci andava. Tuttavia, abbiamo presto realizzato che i nostri sforzi non sarebbero stati sufficienti: abbiamo mollato la presa e trasferito le finanze dello Stato nelle mani di cittadini fidati; questi hanno avuto tante occasioni per sottrarre risorse e insabbiare il furto, eppure non l’hanno fatto, a riprova della loro onestà; trasferire il denaro e i beni è stata una decisione che, oltre a rispettare in pieno le regole del colpo di stato (come ci è stato confermato dallo staff di eRepublik in risposta a un ticket) perché crediamo che ciò che in questi anni è stato messo in piedi dalla community eitaliana, le appartenga e debba essere amministrata da coloro nei quali la community ha riposto la sua fiducia. Ripristinato un controllo democratico sulle istituzioni, chi di dovere rifonderà quanto preso, adeguatamente documentato dai rispettivi organi dello Stato.



Cosa faremo? - Il Bivio

Innanzitutto, intendiamo rifiutare ogni ricatto avanzato dal dittatore; qualche giorno fa, ci ha proposto di lasciarci i profili organizzazione in gestione a patto di poter porre il veto su chi le debba gestire; ci basta la dittatura come feature politica presa dall’antichità, non vogliamo anche l’ostracismo. Praticamente, il dittatore voleva avere il potere di stilare una blacklist di persone da emarginare, per concederci i profili organizzazione (di cui comunque continua ad avere la titolarità), il che ci è sembrato un patetico e ignobile ricatto da bambinetto viziato.
Poi, vogliamo proseguire a fare quello che la community (più della maggioranza degli eitaliani, non i fake, come alcuni, basandosi su illazioni senza alcun fondamento, ignominiosamente affermano) ci ha dato mandato di fare.
Per farlo, tra le altre cose, adopereremo giornali privati, per non infrangere quanto stabilito dagli amministratori e mettere a richio i nostri profili e quelli nazionali, a breve pubblicheremo la lista dei giornali utilizzati dal Governo (quello che che la community ha scelto) e vi daremo ulteriori notizie.







We write this article because we want to publish our point of view about what happened in the last days and give to readers a factual report of the last events, because we don’t want to let the regime propaganda inform citizens with its lies, accusation without any proofs and self-exaltation; between the paragraphs, there are works of spanish and mexican artists… aftera all, revolution without art is like trying to change the system with money, power, violence and greed.
The article has been four handed written and who speaks is ideally all the Government, the only that eitaliancommunity has chosen.



What happened? - The internecine war

On February, the 26, as we opened eRepublik home page, we find the military coup started by Titan DC, MORA commander.
Frankly, we were a bit surprise😛 the day before, whether in an article, or in chat, or in the PM that we opened with military units commanders, several MORA members and its summit to, denied and repudiated the will to take the power with a military coup and lined up against every dictatorships in the eWorld. Furthermore, we believe strongly that we made everything we could to pay attention to military unity, to don’t leave anyone alone or unhear😛 while we were talking about an agreement between Elite and Esercito eItaliano, we contacted other military units of our Nation, MORA in primis.
We payed attention to Congress, listening to parties instances, but some of them, didn’t say anything during debates, before decision and only opened their mouths in propaganda articles or after they started impeachment; opposition should give to the Government other viewpoints, letting him know what the citizens they represent think about its work, while they had a laiz-fairs approach, just to have excuses to attack us.



Why did they do that? - The cannibal country

We don’t know and we’ll never know actually why they did that, so we don’t want to open a debate their intentions: we don’t do behindology” or conspiracy theories, we keep faiths on facts.
MORA head quarters and members said lots of stuffs about their wills: they said they did that for Nation prestige (as if to fight each others for power and waste money is a merit for a community), to be the first military unit to overthrow a Government (but they aren’t), to exhile some people from Nation, to save the Nation from a foreign military coup, to have fun together.
They claimed too that they would reinstate democracy after the success (but now they have made up a cabinet), but if they did it for Nation, why they didn’t warn the Government or the citizens about their idea? Why spending all that money to open the war and fight from both the sides if those resources could be used to defend the Nation from a possible foreign attack?
Furthemore, if they did it to get prestige or fun, it’s clear how two weltanschauung fought themselves during the military coup, not only some military units: on a side who think that hey can afford to spend huge quantities of money to get a medal or have fun fighting each others, on the other side who thinks they should save money to guarantee fun to everyone, every day. Frankly, we surely believe that ubertanks had fun, but the largest part of our community remained shocked and saddened by this fratricide waste of energies.
Then they said that we should thank MORA because they made eitalians unite themselves to fight, but it’s only episodic union against an internal enemy, does MORA want eitalians to be hostil forever to get them together? To make everyone fight, we simply need to make everyone feel involved in the State, but it takes time and this military coup doesn’t allow us to do anything.



How did we react?

Facing this contrasting versions given from MORA members, facing their incoherence and facing some delirious phrases (for example they said they had an agreement with the Government for the military coup…), we realized we couldn’t trust them.
First of all, we thought we could oppose them; it was an error. If in this month we tried to belt-tighten, to put eItaly finances in a decent status, to give a future to our State, now the existence itself of the State was in danger: so, first of all we asked our Congress to use anything in our hands to defend eItaly from MORA and they allowed us to do that, because we didn’t want to surrender without fighting for our country freedom. But as we noticed they were spending lots of money and that we coludn’t beat them, we moved or finances to trustful citizens (eRepublik allows it), citizens that have handled for much time State goods and they have never stolen anything. We believe that the fortune we raise as a Nation in this years, thanks to our work and to our citizens sacrifices, belongs to our community and our community has the right to decide who has to manage its money and the President is the only they decided to trust in.
When there will be democracy again, we’ll give eItaly back its money, our money.



What would we do? - The Juncture

First of all, we want to deny every backmails from the dictator; some days ago, he proposed us to let us use national organization profiles as we don’t let some of our citizens officiate anything; we had enough political features of the past with dictatorship, we don’t want ostracism too. He wants the power to write a blacklist of people: to us, it seems a pathetic and ignoble blackmail from a spoiled little snot.
Then, we want to continue what our community (more than an half of eitalian citizens, not mutlies how someone, without any proofs, says) gave us mandate to do.
So, we are going to use private newspapers, to don’t break eRepublik rules and don’t put in troubles national and personal profiles. In a few days, we’ll publish a list of the official newspapers we are going to use to communicate with our community and we’ll give you more news about what we are doing: stay tuned.
