[Irish Army] Regiment Progress

Day 2,381, 16:44 Published in Ireland Ireland by Ian E CoIeman

May 28, 2014

Hello eIreland,

Today we have a quick update on our efforts to re-organize our national military unit.

So far this project has been a success. We now have four well run regiments in uniform and under active leadership from captains.

Our plan will be to keep up this new level of efficiency by continuing to place greater importance on captain elections.

As Commander, I would also like to thank Mr.Tayto for his great work toward this project - organizing regiments and creating tons of avatars for individual soldiers. o7

Starting Your Own Regiment
If you would like to start a new regiment contact me with the following:

- A group of at least 5 soldiers who have agreed to form a new regiment. Include me a group PM with all of the members of the new regiment. Preferably these soldiers should not be brand new citizens, since we want all new regiments to last and be sustainable. There is also plans to create a BootCamp type regiment for young citizens, as a replacement for the BootCamp MU which has fallen out of use.

- Have a name and idea ready so that we can make you a logo and uniform as seen above. This part will be subject to my discretion as to whether it is a good addition to our regiments. Think of it as a commissioner considering a proposal for a new team in the league. We can work together to come up with a good fit.

- Note that all regiments must not be politically affiliated - in other words, membership in a political party or ideology can not be a requirement for membership in your new regiment.

Currently Regiments 3,4, and 9 are available to start new regiments. 1 and 2 are reserved for use as a free agent pool and potential future BootCamp type regiment.

Cheers,
Ian E Coleman
Commander of eIreland's National Military Unit, Irish Army.
