[IMP] Track your production line..!!

Day 3,107, 06:12 Published in India India by touchofevil

Hi fellas,

Hope I catch you in good health and good mood, because not sure about health but at least the mood may be screwed after reading this.

This is less of an article and more of what seems to me like bug (or stealth) reproduction steps. So here's how the day unfolded for me today!

As usual I logged in to see how my country's doing . I saw all was okay, so I went business as usual, working for my employer and training hard for the country. All of it went well, and I even collected my daily reward..!

So I went ahead to see what a wreck my own business empire is. These days its not to get much excited about, but well, we all work hard to get through.
So without any other employees, I decided to put in the shift alone as usual. I decided to turn on production of my Q1 weapons, which I couldn't produce yesterday due to lack of weapon resources, and I could see that I churned out 13 Q1 weapons. Well not bad for a guy of my skills I thought.

Then as a law abiding citizen that I have never been, I went to follow the orders of my Military Unit. Here I thought of fighting with my Q1's as the battle seemed to be mostly won. I clicked on change ammo to change to Q1 and pulled the trigger. Voila! All of a sudden I felt as if I had dealt destruction beyond what I thought guy of my strength would be capable of.

Upon further investigation, I realized that my assistant, Plato had messed it up. He said I was hitting a Q1 weapon but handed me over a Q6.

Too bad!! By the time I realized what Plato had done, I had already hit the weapon twice. As soon as I realized the blunder, I went back to my armory to pick up the weapon myself. That's when I realized I did not have a single Q1. I couldn't believe my eyes, so I searched my entire storage, twice, thrice.. but to no avail. Thinking it might have been cached, I cleaned up all my caches, but again absolutely nothing.

All those Q1s vanished into thin air.

When I took the stock of my losses, due to this it came down to :
1. 13 brand new Q1s.
2. 130 weapon resources put into production of Q1.
3. 2 Q6s that were given by over riding my command.
4. And Work tax, to boot. Of course Govt. can't be held responsible for actions of my assistant, but I had to lose that money after all!

So it seems my assistant Plato, has gone rogue and is supplying my (and possibly yours too) valuables and feeding it to those headless chickens.

Scratching my brain a little more, I think this is not the first time Plato has messed it up. I gave up on him almost 4 years back when he came up with the idea of change of command, something he called v2.

Looks like this guy can never learn!
