[ILP] Progression

Progress in all areas of our nation has been slow this month. This is due to long-term goals set in place at the government level, which I fully support. In our party, things have been slowly progressing as well...


ECOMINTERN MEETING

We were accepted into the eComintern shortly after the last party president election. Our first meeting since will be this Sunday. Gerald Smyth will be representing our party. If anyone else in the party is interested then simply pm myself or Gerald to get the specifics.


We look forward to our first meeting as members of the eComintern! o/

ILP WRITING CONTEST



This month I thought I would try and spice up the community be offering a writing contest. Prizes were given to all entering writers who posted an article about an Irish or leftist hero. Prizes were also given to all who published their first article.

There were few voters unfortunately, but should I ever hold another contest I am certain it will hold better participation.

Either way, each article was a great read. So without further ado, the winner of the contest is...

THE NEXT ELECTION

I won't be endorsing any candidates this party presidential elections because we have too many positive choices. We have two members of our party who look to have great potential, and two experienced party presidents as well. I wish the best of luck to each candidate.

COMRADE AWARDS III

Alright, time for the final award ceremony of this term.

ALL RISE!

Our first award will be given to yet another up-and-comer in our party. In their time in our party and MU, they have done exceptional work in the ambassador program as ambassador to the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and France. For your hard work in both our party and nation, we here by award Cry of the Banshee a Golden Comrade medal. (10 weps)



Our next award will be only the 2nd issued. This medal is the highest honour given on behalf of the ILP. Throughout his many ventures in the eworld, this figure always returns home, to both eIreland and the Independent Labour Party. Not only has he worked to make the party a more fun and entertaining enviroment, but is also one of the founding fathers of the party itself. Thank you for your service. Mike Bane is hereby awarded the Order of Waffle. (1 gold)



Lastly, an award I have created that will go only to the outgoing president of the party each term. For throwing out massive amounts of pro-left propaganda, publishing party articles that not only irritate the haters, but receive less votes than a party election, and lastly, doing it all like boss... I hereby award myself an Awesome Arrogant Anarchist medal. (unlimited arrogance)



MY CURRENT MISSION

For now I will stay active in the ambassador program and MoFA team. I'll be fighting TWO every chance I get, as usual. Aside from that, my 50th article is coming up soon so i'll be planning for it. I would also just like to thank all the mates in the ILP who have supported me this term. o/
