A special welcome to new members and I hope you feel valued

When elected PP of the ILP our great Party was in decline.

We had 22 members and ranked 3rd and only a few members off 4th or 5th.

Out activity needed improving.

In the ten days since my election I believe I not only stopped the decline but have reversed it.

1. Membership is rising and at the time of writing stands at 32. Where we were ranked 3rd over 20 members short of rank 1 we are now ranked 2nd and 9 8 members short of rank 1.

2. We have a Forum now where debates are happening...details in the mass message. Initial topics include "Same Sex Marriage" and the "Reality of Hallucinations"
I ask members to start their own topic on subjects that interest them or contribute to others.

3. In the Congress Election our slate of candidates was elected in their entirety and we received only 3 less votes than the rank 1 party. We are however the Largest grouping in Congress with 11 seats. I wish to thank those people who voted ILP especially those citizens who lent us their vote for this election for whatever reason. Be assured the Leadership Council will strive to ensure all ILP Congresspeople act & vote responsibly in Congress.

I am conscience I never announced in Public the membership of the ILP Leadership Council, this is a body that is appointed by the Party President each term and advises him/her on policy and decisions. (eg they sign off on the Congress list order)
