The kind of game that makes your soul feel battered and bruised every time you close your browser, yet you still come back for more. eRepublik is a corrupt and annoying game with many stupid updates which no one actually likes. This game is based around strength which you can basically buy by shipping all your money to the 'eLabs'. eRepublik has many modules and most of them are super cra..... *hears vans arrive outside house and armed 'erep' soldiers preparing to raid the house*...... Ehehe... most of them are super crazy and soooooo cool. One is the Political module where you can run your country and and even become president! *Vans slowly roll out of drive way*... Anyway, the warfare module where you have to kill others and your energy runs out is really boring and at the end of the day you only do it for the 25 kills and a couple of medals + gold. Lately they added on the new tournament, which to be honest is crap because no one apart from the guys who sent all there moneiz over to eLabs wins any gold cos all the same peeps get all tha gold becauz they have 70k strength in Div 1 which is too crazy for anyone. Another thing is the media option. In this you can make newspapers, everyone only uses this to get 25 comments for that mission that no one has completed apart from like the MoD newspaper or sumfink. The only other people who don't write just because of missions are the gvt peeps who probs only write caus they have pressure on them or else they get bribed to and it's one step closer to getting to become dictator by getting trust from tha public. Once dictator all they do is sap money from the accounts and button press for eternity. THE END.

eRepublik is a browser based business which allows the developers to increase their bank accounts by large amounts - all in just fifteen minutes a day. Gold is initially given to new players at a high rate, as they quickly level up. Once the freebies have got them hooked, it becomes much harder to come by, while at the same time the need to obtain it is increased as competitions and ranking tables are delivered making it clear to the newer player that they need to acquire large amounts of gold to catch up with those who have been playing for years (an impossible task). Offers are added that make it seem like the player is getting a good deal when he spends real life money on a game - the ingenuity of making it seem like paying for something that's free is good value for money is what keeps so many people coming back, credit card in hand, over and over again.

As a way to make a lot of money with little effort, eRepublik is hard to beat - as stated before, the development team only has to spend fifteen minutes a day coming up with new ways to screw up the game for the players, which boosts activity as everyone spends a lot of time and energy posting articles complaining about the new changes, instead of logging off for good as might seem more sensible. Meanwhile, tickets reporting bugs, asking for passwords to be reset, etc... can safely be ignored as this will give players even more things to complain about and cause activity to spike even higher. This counter-intuitive increase in activity as things worsen has been patented by eRepublik as the "Piss on them and watch them squirm" strategy.

In summary, eRepublik is a great place for players with more money than sense to hand their credit cards and sense of contentment over to Plato, who will in turn provide a small amount of gold, an almost crippling hunger for more gold, and a general feeling that they are part of a decaying society that will seep beyond the confines of the game and pervade real life.
