Good evening, eRepublikans!

Most of you have probably heard that “the morning is wiser than the evening”. That is why this article is published tonight, so tomorrow you will have a chance to think about it again.

(At first, )When the talk about our alliance with the eTurks started, I was absolutely against it. Not because, as many of you think, I have some RL complexes, but because of objective reasons from the game.

A lot of bulgarians didn’t like that we were in the same alliance with eTurkey once. But we never fought or acted agaisnt them. We never were in a direct confrontation, not speaking about the trolls. We were loyal allies, sadly the same cannot be said for the eTurks themselves. 2010 May, the time when eRomania tried to occupy us for the n-th time. We didn’t receive any support from eTurkey, not until the war reached Burgas. Where were they when we were being erased? Why didn’t they help until there was real danger for them?

Let’s not talk about territorial integrity. There is no such thing as friedship between countries, after all, only interests. Let’s skip a few month. We were still allies. eBulgaria had made a plan for economical development. It included going through an allied coutry (eTurkey). It was about a narrow corridor, so that we could reach eIran’s territories (in the same alliance at the time) and a premade deal for renting a couple of regions. There was only one problem, though - the corridor. Renting a region wasn’t as hard as reaching it ...through an allied country. At the time there were no trade routes to the capital and every region counted for the income and development of the whole ecountry.

I guess everyone knows under what circumstances eBulgaria joined EDEN. After a lot of noice about FYROM (about the name, the territories, whether to join Phoenix or not...). This was the time when the Turkish-FYROMian love blossomed. The press was full of merry shouts “Brothers!” At the referendum to kick eBulgaria out of Phoenix, our loyal ally eTurkey voted YES. And why wouldn’t they? After all we, Bulgarians, had suppressed RL reasons not to like Turkish players, showing the eWorld that we can play without the prejudice from real life.

Don’t forget the times when we were on different sides. Am I the only one that remembers how shamelessly they erased us and then let us liberate a region, so that they could occupy it on the next day? Am I the only one that remembers the edited peace treaty? Am I the only one that remembers how they wanted money warrants, that we wouldn’t attack them? Were we the aggressor?

For everyone who says that eBulgarians act only based on real life issues, think again. You simply refuse to acknowledge why we don’t want them as allies.

I registered in a social game and the only reason I’m still here is the friends I’ve made. I don’t care who deals more damage. eTurkey has proven not once that they are not good allies. Their former ‘brothers’ can confirm that.
