[DoFA] Resignation & Second Week Report

Good evening dear Aussies!

This is the second and sadly, the last FA article I’ll be writing this term. As I already informed JackTrout, our current CP and Dictator, I have resigned from the MoFA seat for the rest of the term. The decision is taken and it’s irrevocable.

I won’t get publicly into much details, my decision is based on Jack’s way of managing the Foreign Affairs’ politics and the lack of trust on me when taking crucial decisions without even asking for opinions. I totally respect the hierarchy a serious government needs, and I would have accepted any decision taking by him, but I cannot work in a cabinet that bypasses me from international negotiations being Minister.



Even so, there’s a second DoFA article I have pending, so I will conclude my job here before quitting for good.

This week we’ve renewed our MPP with our good old NEBULA friend eCzech Republic. Also, after engaging on a war with eVenezuela, we have accordingly reached an agreement with Portugal to embrace this new friendship and reinforce it by signing a MPP with them as well. Our beloved dictator will fund this new pact from his own pocket, since our budget is really tight this month as you all know. The Hungarian MPP is being renewed right now too, as Jack forgot to give his seal of approval the first time he launched it 😛



You may have noticed we just got in a war against eVenezuela. To be honest, we were first trying to reach an agreement with them for a TW (we even had the terms already on the table) but, once ePortugal attacked them, they refused to carry on with the agreement, and what such honorable Aussies like us did then was just keeping our word of NEing them 😉

Peru, on the other hand, wanted us to have this TW in order to continue with out rental agreement on Queensland, sadly, eVenezuela won’t ever take it (at least in short term), so the Gov will figure out how to solve this issue with the Peruvian Government.





We have also reached an agreement with eIndo as well, whereby we’ll be giving them the two regions we conquered from eVene through RWs. With these 2 regions and those already secured by themselves, our friend and neighbour will be free again with all of their cores.
Congrats to them, yay!




Finally, I just want to bid farewell to JackTrout and the rest of the cabinet. No hard feelings at all. Oh, best wishes for the next MoFA too. She’ll be right, mates.

¡Buenas tardes, queridos eAustralianos!

Éste es el segundo, y tristemente el último artículo de AAEE que escribiré este mes. Como ya informé a JackTrout, nuestro actual CP y Dictador, he dimitido del cargo de MoFA lo que queda de legislatura. La decisión está tomada y es irrevocable.

No daré demasiados detalles al respecto en público, mi decisión se sustenta en la manera de Jack de llevar la cartera de AAEE y su falta de confianza en mí a la hora de tomar decisiones trascendentales sin siquiera consultar mi opinión. Respeto totalmente la jerarquía que todo gobierno serio necesita y hubiese aceptado cualquier decisión que él tuviera a bien tomar, pero no puedo trabajar en un gobierno que me excluye de negociaciones internacionales siendo Ministro.



Aún así, hay un segundo artículo de AAEE que tengo pendiente, de modo que concluiré mi trabajo aquí antes de irme definitivamente.

Esta semana hemos renovado nuestro MPP con un buen amigo de NEBULA, República Checa. También, despues de haber entrado en guerra con eVenezuela, hemos llegado a un acuerdo con Portugal para unir nuestros países en una nueva amistad que queda patente mediante la firma de un nuevo MPP con ellos. Nuestro querido dictador financiará este pacto de su propio bolsillo, debido a la estrechez de nuestro presupuesto mensual como bien sabéis ya. El MPP húngaro está siendo renovado en estos precisos instantes también, dado que a Jack se le olvido dar su “seal of approval” la primera vez que lo propuso 😛



Como habréis notado, acabamos de entrar en una guerra contra eVenezuela. Siendo honestos, nuestras intenciones inciales eran las de llegar a un acuerdo con ellos para una TW (ya teníamos incluso los términos de la misma sobre la mesa) pero, cuando ePortugal les atacó, rechazaron seguir adelante con lo pactado, y lo que como buenos y honorables aussies hicimos fue mantener nuestra palabra de mandarles NE 😉

Perú, por otra parte, quería que esta TW se llevase a cabo para poder continuar con el acuerdo de alquiler de la region de Queensland. Lamentablemente, eVenezuela no la podrá conquistar (al menos este mes) así que nuestro Gobierno buscará una solución a este problema con el peruano.



También hemos llegado a un acuerdo con eIndonesial, mediante el cual les devolveremos las 2 regiones conquistadas a eVenezuela por RW. Con estas 2 regiones y las que ya han conseguido liberar ellos por su cuenta, nuestro amigo y vecino volverá a ser soberano con todas sus cores.
