[DoF] Update: Loans, Org Rent, and Aviation.

Day 3,169, 01:56 Published in Australia Australia by Reserve Bank of Australia

Boss Bucks

The Senate has approved a loan pool of 200k. So far there is one application for 35 Gold (around 14K), so there's still plenty in the tank. Loans are interest free, so if you need a little fast cash to bankroll your business expansion, get in touch.

Org Rents

Organisation Rent for next month will be 4K, in line with resuming the 10 Gold indexation.

Voting was low and evenly split. 1 voted to remain at 3.5K, 2 voted for 4K in line with indexation, and 3 voted for 5K.

Aircraft

ADP President Guagature proposed an increase in the import tax to 15% in Aircraft Raw Materials (ARM), which has just passed. This is in line with the tax for most other industries. Our local price for ARM isn't too much above global trends, and local suppliers already have the top offers, so I don't expect this will greatly affect things at this stage, although it may do later on.

Prices for Q1 Aircraft Missiles have shown great fluctuation, and have just dropped in the last 24 hours. Our market is more expensive than the global price, so I'd advise leaving Aircraft Weapons taxes where they are for now.

As Q1 Missiles only give a marginal advantage, they have largely been the realm of wealthier players, who seem to be bankrolling the industry with their credit cards, as the cost isn't usually covered by the 30 Gold for Sky Hero. Whether this operating model is maintained remains to be seen. Possibly once people reach the highest rank they will rest on their laurels, although I'm sure new ranks can be introduced.

Global levelling, where our citizens place holdings, Henry's KH commune trial, and whether Q2+ Aircraft Weapons are developed will all play into this going forward. It's still too early to say much.
