[DoE] Week in Review
Department of Citizen Affairs
Today: Week in Education and Congress stuffz.
First and foremost:
The first week for education under the Tyler Buublar administration has gone better than I think anyone could have expected. While I wish that this was due to the amazing, wonderful, passionate, exceptional leadership of the Sec. of Education, Jefferson Locke, it would be completely unfair. In truth, the amazing media activity of the first week belongs to an amazing team of people that I’m very lucky and proud to work with. I’d like to list the articles and the people that wrote them now, in case any of you missed them and would like to go back and read through them:
Historical Context: God and Country written by Aramec
Save your Gold! written by WookyJack
How to get Hood Rich and Fight Spain! Written by Nick Bergman
Party Spotlight: Federalist Party written by Tom Cauchon
This is the type of activity and high quality that was envisioned when the teams for Education and Interior were picked. We in education look forward to bringing you more informative content throughout the month.
Apart from writing articles, The Dept. of Education also runs the American University, which is a way for newer players to learn about the game while receiving assistance from mentors along the way. The players are rewarded for reaching benchmarks based on activity and acquired knowledge, which helps them to succeed and become long term members of e-society. This program, run by Jaden A , is currently redoing the lesson plans in order to ensure that the University continues to serve American new players in the best way possible.
The Question of the Day program is also in full swing, ran by EddieA . In this program, you can answer questions and receive prizes for getting them correct. Eddie and Jaden both plan on writing an article about these things in the near future, so I will let them expand on these two wonderful programs.
We party hard in Education
In an exciting development this month, Congress has very recently added the Dept. of Education and Dept. of Interior as a line item in the budget. Before, both of these depts. were under private donation only. This stability in the funding of these depts. will add to the growth of the United States, and increases the long term potential of it’s citizens. The Dept. of Education would like to thank all the Congresswomen and Congressmen who supported the line item, and we look forward to serving the members of the eUnited States in the coming weeks.

\o/...SFP writers...sorry, got excited.
The DoE does excellent work and has deserved a budget line for a long time, Congrats!
The department has produced quality and quantity, but I knew they would work out well.
TB, himself has performed much better than I expected.
I was mentioned twice, now this one deserve a vote! 😃
If you don't get edumacated then you don't know stuff.
Voted! 😁
As I've said in the past, as Sec of Media, it is very easy to have a strong presence during week one. It is far more difficult to extend that enthusiasm into weeks 3 and 4.
However, even with that being said, I think we have the team in place to get us through not only weeks 3 and 4, but perhaps future weeks as well. Nice work all.
DoE rocks!
