[Dodgy4CP] Policy Time!

Day 3,269, 20:28 Published in Australia Australia by DodgyHagrid

You want a Policy? I've got a Policy!

Salutations readers! Just to assure you that my run for CP is 100% percent legit, I will be releasing a policy article. This is the plan as drafted by the Council and myself.

Term Goals:

1. Removal of Peru and Securing our Borders
2. Reinstating an Australian Democracy
3. Encouraging Growth and Development

Goal 1. Removal of Peru and Securing our Borders

Evidently, Peru is occupying Australian land which is a concern for 2 reasons: Firstly, this disrupts the many holding companies people across eAustralia have established. Secondly, this impacts upon the Australian congress. Whilst they aren't in power as of this moment, I believe eAustralia should return to it's democratic ways. With more regions we can have more people participating in congress moreover some more gold on the side for those who earn their shiny congress medals. Steps will be taken to firstly; remove Peru, and secondly; establish a strong foreign policy that will see Australian land and holding companies protected. Our good friend Chile has said that when they finish with their war they intend to help us remove Peru, so a resolution in regards to this will happen soon enough. From there we can continue to build our relationships with our friends, namely Chile and other members of Adriatica.

Goal 2. Reinstating an Australian Democracy

The policy here is quite straightforward. We will seek to start a revolution in order to overthrow the dictator. This will allow our congress to do it's job once more. Our stance is that the RBA shouldn't have to pay for the revolution, however the money will have to come from somewhere, obviously a revolution is very costly. My suggestion will be that the people of eAustralia and our close friends pool our funds together. The revolution solution will not be easy however I will appoint a taskforce of capable and dedicated people to discuss and decide how best deal with the issue.

Goal 3. Encouraging Growth and Development
Obviously there have been many programs for development in the past and to some extent these have worked brilliantly. I propose the establishment of incentives for users to interact with others and also provide with opportunity to build their Citizen. This could range from incentive to writing articles, to business loans and investment programs. Rather than having a pre-prepared proposal, a committee would be established to deliberate on what to do and how best to do it. The government shall make sure the program is out there for all eAustralian's to see and to understand and make sure it is inviting, hopefully building a larger player base in eAustralia. I also propose that eAustralia should boost it's numbers by means of immigration. Obviously strong checks are required to prevent PTO but we must also make sure that if players are wanting to come here for fun, to contribute to the nation, then we should be very accepting of this.

Closing remarks:

Thank you all for your support. I am more than happy to answer all your questions. There will be a Q/A or debate session on it's way as well as a cabinet article. Thank you all!

Viva la Cocos!

Signed,

Founder of the Council of Rubeus
