[CP] Shoutout to Broersje

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

Broersje. Patriotic eDutch citizen. Founding father of most of our laws and protocols. Icon of the eDutch politics and society for many years. Friend and mentor to many. And I could continue to praise and celebrate this citizen, who sadly has decided to leave the game altogether. We've seen it coming earlier, but now that Broersje has decided to gift all his properties to the eDutch state the end of this eDutch citizen - perhaps even the end of an era - seems very near.

As testament of his greatness, Broersje has decided to pay of a very delicate scandal that our country has been harassed with for months now. Let me recap: Two months ago, former Dutch Government official Van Spijck / M. de Ruyter under Country President Kordak, decided to hire mercenaries in a foreign war with no Dutch interest, without any legal approval, for the staggering amount of 112,000NLG. Both Van Spijck and Kordak are held accountable for 20,000 each of the bill by a Congress decision, but so far only Kordak paid up. Added up to Kordak's payment, the eDutch state (including donations) paid 35,000, which added up to 55,000NLG. The mercenaries agreed for a payment of 100,000NLG, but until recently only a small part of it was paid - which resulted in the blacklisting of the eDutch Government in the Mercenary channels.

But not anymore! Broersje decided to pay off the remaining amount of 45,000NLG and has relieved us of this stench on our international reputation. The remaining funds he had left - an amount of around 2200NLG - he donated to the eDutch state itself.

Let's all praise Broersje for his achievements in the past and the legacy he leaves us. I'll personally, in coordination with Congress, award him the Ridder-Grootkruis Medal in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau - the highest medal an eDutch citizen can receive.

Broersje was a very well respected politician and mentor to many, sad to see someone of his stature leave a community but all move on eventually.

And of course you would use any opportunity to take more digs when you can Notie. Write an article meant to honour a citizen for his services but you decide to slander someone more rather than talk about this mans achievements. A sad goodbye really. Well at least you mentioned him in the smaller paragraph.

Just explaining to what cause a private citizen pays up 45,000NLG, a lot of money which could have been spent elsewhere if it wasn't for the facts I cared to elaborate on objectively, mister Journalist.

You could have given him his own article is all Im saying, after all this is a "tribute" to him is it not?

If you are so deeply disturbed by vS still after all this time you could always dedicate another article to how much a piece of s*** you truly believe he is, because all you do right now is take away from Broerje's hard work and personal achievements when you do this. What does it take for a guy to get a goodbye or his own recognition for a service well done around the NL without being over shadowed by vS? Im guessing we will never know.

And you are right, I did use the term slander in some degree of levity I know, perhaps I should of said complain, nag, take a dig whenever possible, whine, protest, grumble or some other similar terms.

In my opinion, it is still rather unfortunate that this had to happen in the first place because of the totally irresponsible actions of a player who now openly fights against our country.
