[CP] Mid-Term Update

Day 2,770, 13:55 Published in Canada Canada by Xichael

Hey folks, I noticed that the term is already halfway over and that it's about time for the mid-term report. I must say the time has really flown by, and there are things I already wanted to have accomplished by now, but i'm confident that we can have some fun in the second half of the term. Let's talk about the status of my campaign goals and some other issues.

1. National Citizen Supply Program

This has lagged quite a bit. We have received quite a few donations, and I am confident we have enough to run the program for a while, but we have encountered a few minor obstacles. The main problem has been we don't have an organization we can dedicate to the use of the program. I sent a request to the admin over a week ago to recover all of our national organizations and have not heard back from them other than to say they forwarded my ticket to the "person responsible for assisting with this matter." I hope this will be resolved shortly. If it is not resolved in the next couple days I would like to proceed with the program without an organization for the time being, although it will complicate things.

2. Getting People Involved

I would like to say, I have been really pleased with the activity of the deputies. Although there isn't a ton to do, they have always been vocal that they are ready to help whenever needed. The MoD orders are being kept relatively up to date, and always out when we have a major priority, while our dMoFA has even attended an alliance meeting with us. All-in-all, I am pleased that people are interested and learning.

3. Airstrike

As you may have noticed, we have dropped quite a few MPPs. This is because we are preparing to conduct an airstrike with our allies. The less MPPs we have, the less energy we need (the cost is calculated by multiplying the population of your allies). Details of the airstrike have been disclosed to congress, but are currently not being made public. What we really need right now is to fill up our energy. Please contribute, because otherwise it has to be topped off using money from the treasury, which means less money will be available for combat orders. Please head over the military tab of our country page to contribute food!

4. The FYROMULAN Threat

The CP of FYROM threatened Dill that he would coup Canada if Dill went through with his coup of FYROM. Dill shared all the messages with me, and made very clear to the CP of FYROM that this was his own initiative, but still FYROM would hold us all accountable. Dill did not manage to beat FYROM to the coup button, so technically we should be in the clear, but we must remain on high alert. FYROMULANS control two military units in our country, and the CP of FYROM indicated that the MU Die-Hards was their coup MU. We are currently monitoring it for any influx of activity.

That concludes the mid-term report. I won't repeat the finance report here, but I will encourage you to head over to the national forums and take a look at it.

Stay safe Canada,
