[CP] Kordak I: End of term

Dear Citizens of the eNetherlands,

My term as President has come to an end and it is time for me to write this final update. It was a month full of action which took a lot of my time and sleep. The government made a very good start in the beginning and we were able to make some changes in the Netherlands. Some of you might remember the list MaartenW made, what he though I had to achieve:

Short notice;
[ x ] 5 gold presidential medal to the state
[ x ] Changing the king to the president
No explanation needed.

Weekly;
[ x ] Weekly Finance report:
Instead a great monthly overview was published and besides of that our Minister of Finances made financial reports every week in the sheet on the forum.

[ - ] Ally of the Week:
This one was unfortunately not succeeded since we had to fight in our own wars and the situation in the world asked all our time. However we had one ally of the week, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

[ x ] Weekly goals for ministries (1st goals were set at the beginning of the week):
Goals were often set in the government meetings or in PM to the minister or state-secretaries.

[ x ] Weekly fun articles and contests:
Thanks to our great ministry of culture and propaganda we had many history articles including contests in every article.

[ x ] (Combined strikes with allies):
When we needed help in the war against Germany our old friends from ASGARD were there to help us. They fought for our nation and even offered us region to airstrike if we were in danger of not having a congress.

[ - ] (IRC fun meetings):
This one did unfortunately not succeed, however we had a fun meeting on the forum launched by our Minister of Home Affairs.

End of term;
[ x ] Stayed in touch with the people and our congress:
I tried to do my best on this. When some decisions were not me to decide I informed our democratic congress and asked their opinion. Also in the cp updates we tried to inform our people of every thing we were busy with.

[ x ] Report on the possibilities of new colonies:
At the begin of the term our Minister of War was very clear about this one, there were no possibilities of new colonies. However we looked at the possibility to make Belgium our colony, but we all know we did not succeed in that.

[ x ] War emergency plans:
The war emergency plans were tried in the latest war against Germany, but unfortunately it is not possible to prepare for a war long before. Every war is different and needs a new plan.

[ x ] Improved contact with allies
We had some good contact with our old allies in ASGARD, they helped us a lot in the war. Also we had good contact with a very old ally of us: France. This are just some example of countries we improved contact with.

[ x ] Improved contact with ePolan😛
At the begin of the term we had a very good relationship with Poland. We had a meeting and we discussed membership of the new alliance. Poland wanted us as a SIRIUS member and they even allowed us to take Belgium, so that they would have North, South and West NL. However that government got impeached and the new one only cared about regions and bonuses. That is the moment Poland also decided to put a VETO against our membership.

The Minister of Finances told me that this was already available at the forum!

[ x ] MoH been created
One of our best creations was the Ministry of Health, a new service that provides new citizens with free food. I hope this will be the heritage of Kordak I for a very long time.

[ x ] (Multiple) coaching articles updated
Most were updated and ready to launch.

[ x ] Report on new ways of recruitment
I made a new report I will publish at the forum this week. I have tried to start a babyboom in the Netherlands and it seemed like my plan succeeded. More will follow about this.

[ x ] People being 'good informed'
Tried to update the people on any subject, that is why we launched the ask your government campaign.

[ x ] (Multiple) articles about the past of the eNetherlands and its culture.
Our MoCP did a great job this month, I am really proud of what NoTie wrote this term. I hope our next President will continue this.

The babyboom is one of the things that really satisfied me. At the beginning of my term we had around 370 citizens now we have around 600 citizens! So that means we almost doubled it. Not only my babyboom plans helped with this, but also many citizens returned playing eRepublik because of the war with Germany they got a email to play again. Another thing I am proud of is our newly introduced Ministry of Health which helps our new players to have enough food.

I want to thank all ministers that served in my term, also the ones that did not serve the government till the end. Also I want to thank everyone that voted for me in the last elections, I learned a lot from it. It is time for me to relax and see what else eRepublik has to offer me. I might go less active for a while, maybe take some less time consuming functions.
