[CP] Kordak I: 2nd update

Dear Citizens of the eNetherlands,
This is the second update of my term and we have been quite busy last days. First of all we have had many talks with officials from other nations about the possibilities of entering a new alliance. This is a progress which has our highest priority at the moment since it is one of the most important decisions and will have a lot of influence in the months to come. And in the meanwhile we have been searching for our first ally of the week, which started later than I actually wanted. (more about that later on in this article)
Government meeting
Because I see it as a priority to have an active government I planned the first government at the start of my term. This is a process I want to follow every week and keep the people updated about this. It is true that there are a few things secret about those meetings
😛but I think there is enough to keep the people updated with.
We have been discussing about the new alliances and have made plans to make an approach to some nations to see the possibilities. Also we have picked the ally of the week and made plans for the supplies and finances of a joint strike. We discussed the change of the MoHA. (more about it later) MoHA will also organize a first event at the forum, in-game or IRC. Another point to mention is the start of application forms MoHA will use in the future.
Ministry of Home Affairs
Like in last article mentioned Legendardisch is the Minister of Home Affairs instead of Uschmidt. It became clear that Uschmidt would not be able as state secretary and that he would continue as MoHA adviser: That has left us with the problem.. We need a new state secretary of home affairs! So if you think you fit this job do not wait and send Legendardisch your motivation why you want to become part of the government!
Freedom in all regions
So most of you have noticed by now that we have liberated Western Netherlands and Southern Netherlands. However those resistance wars were not supported by the government of the Netherlands. We signed a deal with Poland about our regions and we will follow that deal. That means that we will put a NE on Poland when the time is ready, more info will follow about this.
Ally of the week: BiH
We have picked one of our most loyal allies in the game to be our ally of the week; yes I am speaking about Bosnia and Herzegovina. There core regions are still under occupation by Serbia and we want to help them with liberation. Our goal is simple: Have some great days together and fight side by side. Because we had a big delay created by alliance business we have this week started later than expected. The week will start on day 2277 and will end on day 2282. More info about the combined strike will follow and you will be informed about this by our Ministry of War.

Beste burgers van Nederland,
Dit is de tweede update van mijn term en we zijn erg druk geweest laatste dagen. Ten eerste hebben we vele gesprekken gehad met officials van andere landen over de mogelijkheid tot het toetreden van een nieuwe alliantie. Dit is een activiteit die onze hoogste prioriteit heeft, aangezien het een hoop invloed zal hebben op de komende maanden. In de tussentijd hebben we gezocht naar een eerste ally of the week, wat later is gestart dan ik eigenlijk verlangde. (later hierover meer in dit artikel)
Overheidsmeeting
Omdat ik het als een prioriteit zie om een actieve overheid te hebben heb ik meteen de eerste overheidsmeeting aan het begin van mijn term gehouden. Dit is een proces dat ik elke week wil herhalen en daarnaast wil ik de bevolking hierover op de hoogte houden. Het is waar dat er een aantal dingen geheim zijn aan deze meetings
😛maar ik denk dat er genoeg is om het volk mee op te hoogte te houden.
We hebben het gehad over de nieuwe allianties en plannen gemaakt om een aantal landen te benaderen voor de mogelijkheden. Ook hebben we de ally of the week gekozen en plannen gemaakt voor de financien en wapens voor een gezamelijke aanval. We hebben de veranderingen in MoHA besproken. (meer hierover later) MoHA zal ook een eerste evenement op het forum, in-game of op IRC houden. Een ander punt om aan te halen is de applicatie formulieren van MoHA die gebruikt zullen worden in de toekomt.
Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken
Zoals ik in mijn laatste artikel heb vermeld is Legendardisch de Minister van Binnenlandse Zaken in plaats van Uschmidt. Het is duidelijk geworden dat Uschmidt zijn taak als staatssecretaris niet voort kan zetten en daarom zal hij verder gaan als MoHA adviseurs: Dat laat ons met een probleem zitten.. We zoeken een nieuwe staatssecretaris van binnenlandse zaken! Dus als je denk dat dit jouw ding is, aarzel niet en stuur Legendardisch een berichtje met je motivatie waarom je deel wilt worden van de regering!
Vrijheid in de regio's
Zoals de meesten van jullie is opgevallen hebben we West-Nederland en Zuid-Nederland bevrijd. Echter deze resistance wars werden niet door onze overheid van Nederland gesteund. We hebben een deal met Polen over onze regio's en we zullen deze deal dan ook volgen. Dat betekent dat we een NE zullen plaatsen op Polen wanneer de tijd daarvoor rijp is, meer info volgt nog hierover.
Ally of the week: BiH
We hebben een van onze meest loyale bondgenoten in het spel onze ally of the week gemaakt; ja ik heb het over Bosnië en Herzegovina. Hun kernregio's zijn nog bezet door Servië en we willen ze helpen met de bevrijding. Ons doel is simpel: een aantal geweldige dagen samen hebben en zij aan zij vechten. Omdat we een grote vertraging hebben gehad door de alliantie besprekingen is de week later gestart dan verwacht. De week start op dag 2277 en zal eindigen op dag 2282. Meer info volgt over de gecombineerde aanval en jullie zullen hierover worden geïnformeerd door de Minister van Oorlog.

BiH is a solid, safe choice.
I'm also excited to hear more on the MoHA updates. If this is the only thing Kordak does this term, it is still a successful term.
There is a lot behind the scene stuff going on, but I'm sure everyone would like the end results
As long as the CP achieves one solid goal that promotes our country, I think its a fairly successful term. Now, you can measure of successful each CP term is, but as long as one real goal is achieved, then it's pretty good.
My term, for example, has mixed results depending on how you look at it. I did not achieve my one main goal, which was to RW a region free from Poland. In that respect, I failed. What I did accomplish was strengthening our ties with allies and actually recognizing which countries are true allies. The other thing I did, although not as well known, is strengthen the executive power of the CP. I am the only CP in over a year that forced an increased budget through congress for the RW which was planned. Van_Spijck has done some similar work with the airstrike and renting of Canadian region, but it wasn't quite the same scenario. Overall though, I would say my CP was not a very good one, and I'm willing to admit that.
I think if you keep on the same track, then you will surely have a great CP run.
Err, you are proud of that move to waste 30K from our savings? A mess that CP's after you had to clean up?
Great job on informing the people, I feel it is the first and foremost task of any government.
I saw too many eNL players in the RW's getting BH's, this damage would have been greatly welcomed in the Transilvania campaign. I think communication lacked a bit with regard to directing national damage.
I'm fairly confident most NL citizens don't regard aiding Poland as very high on their priority list. We are certainly allied with them though, no doubt about that.
I have informed as many people as possible during that RW's, but I agree that communication could be improved on this matter.
I've only fought in battles which Poland already clearly lost (last 15 minutes in battles with 80% wall in favour of eNL), and only did so to finish some of the missions, and to get some TP influence.
Even people who got BHs may have argued likewise. I didn't go for a BH since I felt that I'd be better off saving my resources until a more useful war.
The Transylvania battle was a more useful war imo.
Even Poland themselves didn't put that much effort in trying to win Transsylvania, as too many of their MU's where caught up in trying to hold on to regions that were going to be liberated.

There are basically two options: the last hour of 24 February eRep time, so that we are sure to still have our regions before the election results are final, or well before the congress elections. In practice the first war needs to be started 1.6*15*6=144 hours=6 days before we need to have our regions back before the congress elections, NE declaration should be 24 hours earlier, so we're talking about a full week before 23rd February 02:00 (first check for congress elections).
That is to say: it should be either within 2 days, or in almost 2 weeks.
Yes we stay in close contact with Poland on this matter and will see what will be the best moment to start this.
