[CP Election] Interviewing the Victims

Hello eUKers we have an election coming up on the 5th isn't that fun? No!?!?! Well how dare you! You're so rude.
I decided to interview our 2 main candidate to see what they would offer as CP of this great wiped country. First to reply, to my surprise, was everyone's favourite current UKPP PP King William the Great. Here's how it went down:
1. Why do you want to be CP?
I feel I can shift the agenda and be the leader the eUK needs. My opponent promises division. I will do my best to be a leader for all of Britain, and one who will restore our nation to greatness once again.
2. How will you deal with the current eUK wipe by Argentina?
I will explore all options, first a diplomatic one, and then more aggressive steps if need be.
3. What are your 3 main goals if elected?
1. Restore all British territory within my term.
2. Find ways to attract more players to the eUK to grow the size and activity of the community.
3. Remove the false "King" Woldy and restore the House of Windsor to its rightful place.
4. Why should people vote you over the other candidiates?
Are you bored by what's been going on in eRep? Do you want someone to shake things up and make it interesting? Then vote for me! Love me or not, you know it will be a fun month, and isn't that what we should all want? Plus you will see my manifesto published a day or two before the Election and you can read about all my awesome plans for Britain!
5. If you were a Microsoft Office program, which one would you be?
Powerpoint. I'm flashy and I will keep people's attention!

Now it's the turn of the Sir Humphrey Appleby to wow the audience in a fine frenzy of words and stuff:
1. Why do you want to be CP?
Chiefly to be able to go to the public for an electoral mandate to carry out my policies in face of the current wipe. We have gone through wipes plenty of times but I expect we may need to properly reorganize in order to have the best possible fighting chance of getting free.
2. How will you deal with the current eUK wipe by Argentina?
Whilst a human may find it easy to kill a wasp, and a wasp difficult to kill a human, they can still be extremely annoying little buggers that, with enough of them, will certainly make you wish you were dead. We just need to organise another wasps to annoy the sods out of Argentina to the point they wish they never bothered with us in the first place.
3. What are your 3 main goals if elected?
To allow anyone who wants to participate in government to do so if they have a relatively clean history (sorry Wayne & Ajay!). Removing perceived barriers for contributing to the community is an extremely important step in fighting the effects of the wipe.
A stronger media presence is also a sorely needed addition - people need to be kept in the know about the situation rather than just logging on and assuming it’s another day of stagnation. When we start losing core players to boredom then we witness permanent damage to the structure of the community which must be avoided.
And thirdly, coz an apple a day keeps Ajay & co away!
4. Why should people vote you over the other candidiates?
Why don’t you ask the other candidates about fairly moderate progressive policies and see just how mad they are…

Of course he will unite everyone if he is CP... He managed to unite the rank and file members of the UKPP - although admittedly against him rather than behind him, but I'm splitting heirs....

we've already done this, you'd be basically just wasting time. there is no diplomatic option, argentina dont want to give up our regions, why would they want to?
so that brings us to the "aggressive steps"
you have said continuously that you will liberate our regions. HOW??? if you can honestly give me a detailed, sensible and realistic plan that would work, i will vote for you.

Voted and endorsed.
Willy lacks clear vision. If you put aside his history and divisiveness (which you shouldn't) his plans for the country are sadly lacking. Other than removing Mr Woldy as honorary King, I can't name a single policy Willy has proposed.
- Saying 'gain back all UK regions' is not a policy - everyone wants this.
- Saying 'gain more allies' is not a policy. How are you going to do this? Other than the usual talking with other countries (which is being done by the present government to my knowledge).
- Saying 'get more players' is not a policy. How are you going to do this? (Other than saying 'be really active'.)
My advice for anyone serious about leading the UK both this time or in the future:
1) Think about what the UK needs.
2) Plan out in detail how you can achieve your goals.
3) Run your idea(s) past at least one other experienced player if not your whole party.
4) Work on improving the implementation of your idea(s) and look for other ideas from those around you.
King Willy has already managed to add to the UK playerbase so you can't deny him that.... The fact most of them aren't necessarily by new people who have joined the game is only a side note....
Let's not forget that it was thanks to our large MPP stack (which included both pro- and anti-Asteria) that MEK decided to take over anyway, so any "new" allies would have to be chosen very carefully. And getting new players? The userbase is dying anyway, thanks to the devs concentrating on SuperMineSonicMobileMarioCraftHedgehog (a.k.a. Plato's "let's bleed a different userbase dry of their hard-earned monies" mobile game). No existing player in their right mind would come to eUK in it's current state - why should they? We have nothing to offer, at least while the Argentine sightseers remain.
TL; DR? Willy's ideas are crap.

King William, in all seriousness how do you propose to remove woldy? It's a purely informal title with no power and no supporting act of congress. I would suspect that any bill to declare yourself king would be shot down in congress fairly easily
Funny how he accuses everyone of being "Woldy worshipers", yet he is the only one who keeps mentioning Woldy everywhere. #obsession

I can think of only two people who would approve of this policy - Bruce Wayne and BigAnt.
Congratulations for killing any chance Willy had at grabbing some popular vote. Effectively his final vote will become a useful guide to how many multis are currently operating in the eUK.
