Join the new world

Hello everyone and thank you for electing me as your country president! A lot has happened the past few days and I urge all of our citizens to check out our forum, http://www.enetherlands.nl, to keep up with events as they go on. There is a great deal of important news in the congress section that affects all of us. I will only be going over the two big things to come in this address.



Alliance

If you followed my campaign you know that I am a huge supporter of Aurora. I strongly believe that Aurora is the only alliance Netherlands can join without tearing itself apart. Recently our VP, Maarten, got in contact with Aurora and we are well on our way to being accepted. A majority of their members have already approved us with our loyal friends, Ireland, leading the pack.

Maarten has been swift in this area and I expect he will have a full report to address us with in the near future. So please look out for more updates on that front.



Poll

My cabinet has advised that we create a poll to judge how people feel towards each of the alliances so that is what we are going to do. This will be a simple ingame poll where people will post their preference in the comments. My administration will be taking this poll seriously for guiding our country so it is important everyone responds if you want a say.

The poll will have 6 options: Asteria, LETO, Sirius, ProSirius, Aurora, and Neutral. These options will be further grouped together as Asteria and LETO being Pro-Asteria, Sirius and ProSirius as Pro-Sirius, and Aurora as partnered with Sirius but independent of both. Neutral means you have no preference.

We are doing this poll now because we may be having a referendum later on to decide which alliance we join and we want to make sure we are on the right path. It is imperative that everyone participates if you want a say in how your country is shaped!



I want to again thank everyone that voted for me. I know this isn’t exactly a grand welcoming address but I try to move fast and want everything in place so we can prosper. We will be continuing to release articles and bring you up to date with events as we can.
